My favorite actor and favorite fighter in a film together (again).

Seems Benny The Jet Urquidez is involved in the stunt team here. He posted on his FB:
"Doing the stunt work for the next movie "Absent Guard" with Randy Coture and Dolph Lundgren at Team Karate Centers."
Not sure if he's talking bout this, Blood Of Redemption, or even another film altogether.

Should be RUSH which has just started filming. BOD is filming in January (maybe Benny U is involved in both?)... but what is this ABSENT GUARD title?! (former? new?)

Just a sidenote, Benny's fight with Jackie Chan was incredible. I was gonna say it would be great if he fought Dolph but he looks rather small by comparison haha

Another quick sidenote; Benny is John Cusack's long-time trainer and friend... they have a fight scene in Grosse Pointe Blank, and it's surprisingly hard and messy. Not bad for an indie actor

Thanks for that, the kinda fight I love. Not too chop-socky and timid where the hits don't register and not just a flurry of punches. Nice! I hope that Dolph gets to fight Randy Couture in this one, he's basically been going round the action heroes recently - Steve Austin, Cuba Gooding (is he really included haha?) Jet Li, Van Damme, Adkins... and if Benny is involved in Rush on any level then it can only be a good thing.

Dolph actually looks the best he's looked in years.

He's never 'not' looked good.

So... Dolph isn't the lead? He referred to this as a "small role."

Dolph is credited as Producer on this one (as well as Randy Couture). True ? "only" executive producer in reality ?

I have to ask him but I'm sure this is an "honorific" credit just like for STASH HOUSE and BATTLE OF THE DAMNED, maybe his new agent negotiates better deals for him now...

Hmmm wow that was quick. I hate to say this but I would like another Dolph starring movie again. The reason I hate to say it? He doesn't usually play as interesting characters as his bit-parts. If the bit-parts were in huge movies, I wouldn't care if I never saw him in another starring movie and he became a character actor but the fact he is working with people "under" his level, I would prefer if he starred, and they had the bit parts. Just saying. He looks cool here though! Ages since he's played a cop, right? Jeez...when did he last play a cop. Direct Action?
