Wow, fantastic article! Now be so good and translate it for the others. ;-)

Strange, I've done the same as Dolph for Rocky IV: 3 day split training in the gym. I grew stronger but you never saw anything. Wonder what his secret is. ;-) Well, maybe because I never ate that Joe Weider stuff. I still wonder if they really never took anything else. As a hungry new actor you'd do a lot for such a chance. But as a serious athlete and sane person you'd stay away from that stuff.

ok I try my best one

The big red battle engine
Dolph Lundgren`s Preparations on his battle with Rocky

I have never trained as hardly as during these five months before Rocky 4. Stallone has put through me completely beautifully hardly.

Sylvester Stallone was in difficulties. He had the draft for Rocky 4, Rocky against the Russians, but he had nobody for the role of the Russian fighter. He needed a man even more hardness and fighting power on the glue wall could bring than Rockys earlier opponents: Carl Weathers as an Apollo Creed, the all-in wrestler Hulk Hogan and the frightening Mr. T.Also reflected Sly on proved Hollywood method - an international search for talent. Lundgren introduced itself immediately, however, was immediately rejected. With his two meters he is too big, one said to him ...

More to the translation follows ........

 Typical mistake: hard = hart, hardly = kaum. In this case, adding "ly" to the adjective turns it into the complete opposite. So never add "ly" to hard. Was the running gag of our English class: "I work very hardly!" - "Ich arbeite kaum"

But don't take this as an excuse to skip the rest of the translation!

fotos de rockyIV

Postby javi on 04 Feb 2004, 18:54
