SHE'S NOT DOLPH LUNDGREN. SHE'S STALLONE

SHE'S NOT DOLPH LUNDGREN. SHE'S STALLONE:

There's also this assumption in Shapiro's (and others') scenario that a defeat in Iowa will show Hillary to be a paper tiger--or, to mix metaphors, Ivan Drago, the seemingly unbeatable Russian boxer in Rocky IV who crumbled once Rocky made him bleed. (The pivotal "The Russian's cut!" moment comes at about 1:05 in this clip. Do note how unnaturally tan Stallone looks, too.) But I just can't see Hillary crumbling after losing in Iowa. Papers can go with the "Hillary in Trouble" headlines, but she--and her political operation--are probably too formidable for that headline to become reality.

AND THE '08 CAMPAIGN WILL SINGLEHANDEDLY SPEARHEAD THE DOLPH LUNDGREN REVIVAL:

Looks like the Dolph Lundgren campaign analogies are catching on. A couple days ago I said Hillary isn't Ivan Drago. Now the American Spectator's Philip Klein says Romney is Drago. (H/t Andrew.)

One positive byproduct of all this Drago talk is that it led me to check out Dolph Lundgren's IMDB page--where I made the startling discovery that he's now directing. The plot outline for Lundgren's latest directorial project Missionary Man (in which he also stars as Ryder) sounds very promising:

A mysterious stranger rolls into town on a unique motorcycle. All he carries is the bible and a desire for justice. Past vengeance collides as Ryder rights an injustice from his past and liberates the small town from a malicious oppressor.

Sounds like Rudy going to South Carolina.

Is Romney the Ivan Drago Candidate?

He comes accross as Ivan Drago, but the audience will always root for Rocky.

All of the viewers? No, a small part is still desperately putting up resistance against the Rocky fans.

I wonder if Missionary Man will be a hit in the U.S.. Must be - a guy waving the bible and searching revenge sounds just like the American Dream.

Dolph´s name being mentioned in the news again is great! All publicity is good publicity.
And I think Mosquito might be right, "kicking ass in the name of the Lord" is what the U.S (and) A is all about.
