I can't believe how skinny he looks in that A Day in the Life...I agree the breakfast thing was a bit cheesy

There's a little segment with Dolph about Jean-Claude Van Damme (part of some show called Behind Closed Doors on ITV I think) its at 1:22

This was actually for a French TV show special for VD's 50th birthday.

To bad Dolph uses his Karate so little in the movies, I think he could have gained a lot if he had used it more like van damme

You did a film recently with Mr. Claude Van Damme, he plays the hero you play the villain, did you toss him for that?

- your english is very good, have you ever felt tempted to use it?
- actually Seagal spoke to me about that, he wanted me to coach him

Would have been cool to see him do more hand to hand combat scenes. But his style of karate wouldn't have translated all that well to film. Van Damme's style was graceful from the years of ballet, showing off his flexibility, etc. Dolph's more rough and tumble style is suited for a big one kick knock out to the face. Which would have been cool. His roundhouses and sidekicks always looked great, especially when knocking a thug through a window or door.

That was randomly kind of awesome! Dolph didn't get much in but I'm glad nobody tried to talk down to him for being a "macho action hero". Dig the white pants too haha!

I used to have that Politically Incorrect on VHS. I also had some other cool Dolph appearances that I haven't seen online like when he was on Good Morning America, Conan O'Brien, and CNN.

My parents have those tapes in another state but I may go back in a couple months.

He was a guest on Conan in '96 to promote the Olympic Pentathlon team.
