Yeah I wish they showed Dolph's face watching those 22 year-old clips, I'm sure he must have been cracking up!

I think he'd have been absolutely affronted, although he was a really good sport and he did laugh at Only Fools and Horses, he's a really fun guy it appears.

Swedish interview

Postby Jox on 17 Nov 2008, 12:04

http://www.svenskamagasinet.nu/article. ... friendly=1

Notably talks about how the radio show changed people perception of him in Sweden and how he's got new fans, notably a 68 year-old woman who used to have him on a blacklist before (if I understood correctly). He helped him on an emtional level, to realize he doesn't have to put on this action hero act all the time and could make a more emotional film in the future.

Postby Mosquito on 14 Dec 2008, 17:41

Not sure if this has been posted before but I just came across this radio interview for FM 99. The guy has illustrated it with a set of nice pics from Dolph's movies from the last few decades:

Here's the official best of the show, with some footage that wasn't in the youtube version including amazing never seen footage of Dolph fighting a Kyokushin karate competition in Crystal Palace!

Good one!
Its always nice to hear that Dolph is feeling good about himself and his work.
Many more cool projects to come it seems.

Ah, Cronenberg... good taste. I liked Eastern Promises and A History of Violence, too. Some scenes are quite disturbing. And he should like Taken, he would have been great as the lead. To be honest, I like Liam Neeson, but I never thought of him as an action type, let alone the lonesome avenger / one man army.

What Dolph says about his role in The Expendables sounds very promising indeed. I haven't read the script and I will not read it before I've seen the movie, but this really sounds like the perfect role for Dolph. Yay!

this interview was great and sympathic. i really enjoy listening to him, he has a good english.

Eastern Promises and A History of Violence were brilliant. dolph´s influences have taste....if ICARUS will be only half as good as those movies then i am happy with it.
