Nice interview, Nick. I've not been fortunate to work with Dolph yet, but I keep trying. The closest was back in 2001 when I offered him a project called "City of Blood" but it didn't work out. I enjoy Dolph's movies and understand his point of view of this business. Its harsh. And the amount of mean spiritness and heartlessness is appalling. Retirement is very attractive at times. I hope he doesn't ever retire because I think he'll age nicely into a larger than life icon. Thanks for the interview with a interesting and thoghttful artist. Yeah, wow... imagine you enjoy a good movie in a big multiplex theater, you watch the credit roll and then his name comes up as the director. Obviously it wouldn't be a surprise but wouldn't it still be awesome?

It's tricky because SKIN TRADE seems interesting and if well written could easily attract some name actors so it could be a small independent movie that comes out theatrically and in the best case scenario gets good reviews, but otherwise it isn't like the most commercial subject matter that would make it a mainstream flick for everybody's pleasure, hard core gritty R rated movie about prostitution, not really a studio's or theater chain wet dream. Unless you're Clint Eastwood or Martin Scorcese or you have bankable star in it.
