Re: On "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Thursday 30th!

Decent appearance. Usual stuff about his chemical engineering background and how he got ROCKY IV. I guess that's to be expected. Leno showed one of those zany pictures of Lundgren with Grace Jones from back in the day. Typical late night talk show fodder.

Doesn't work for me. It just doesn't stop showing that loading circle. Geo-IP blocked?

Oh wow. That's great! And they used the original soundtrack from the 80's cartoon. :)

And here's the full clip:

After the introduction the interview itself is in English. Poor Dolph looks really tired and sick though. But he gives his best as always.

In the opening, they say he is the action star with the strangest accent. He is actually the action hero with the least strange accent. That's why he can play Americans just as easy as characters from other countries.

Nice interview and upload though.

The period of time around when he made Showdown has got to be the time period when he looked his best.

Agree. But he still looks totally awesome. Now he has more edges. Back then he was just looking totally perfect, I still can't believe I see a human being at the end of Maximum Potential (the stretching lesson). But nowadays his face tells a real story. And I don't find that explanation in order to say something nice. I really love to read that story.

I almost forgot how unreal he looks in Maximum Potential. Also, it's cool how his obscure workout video became something with a cult following and a hit on youtube. It has been resurrected on the internet and now lots of people get to see it.

He really looked incredible around when he made Showdown because he was super muscular and his face looked great. He didn't look that youthful anymore, but he looked like a man. It also seemed like a good time in his career because there were a lot of people talking about him and interested in him around that time, although he would soon drop off from the more mainstream radar.

He really shows his sense of humor and personality in this interview.
