Very interesting article. Good luck to Dolph because I think he can do it and I hope that he does have some sort of a comeback. Clearly the article is total bullshit but...

"Lundgren’s latest DTV film ‘Direct Contact’ was released earlier this year to little acclaim or viewers."

Can someone please tell me where the buy the dvd because I was under the impression that it ISN'T FUCKING OUT YET. Do your research guys. Little audience? I don't call 7 million dollars in the rental charts alone in a matter of weeks a little audience.

Wow. That's just lame because it shows that they didn't even bother to do a little bit of research for the article.

WTF is that [fill in some insulting descriptions here] Tracey Temple? Maybe Dolph will not be the star for the current teen crowd but there are tons of people who a) know him and are waiting for his comeback to the big screen or b) don't know him yet but are likely to like his work. Yes of course, Dolph can't turn back time but he's still great looking, in great shape and - most importantly - he has found new ways in his work. Why the hell shouldn't he be able to have a comeback? He can do more than back then and he seems to know much better now how the movie business is working.

Tracey Temple. Pffff.

To us he's already having his comeback.

It might come with more media BS with it in the future months...

I don't care what she says, this is Dolph's comeback, Stallone must have seen something on Dolph's last 3 movies that he liked about.

I mean the Russian Specialist Dolph looked like a real bad ass, the same goes for The fianl inquiry and missionary man, i think these movies kinda brough him back to the spotlight and giving him a chance again.

I think there's simpler than that: Sly and Dolph have been friends for more than 20 years now, they get together regularly, and Sly was probably more than happy to call back his ROCKY IV pal when JCVD declined (JC probably was asked first because of his bigger mainstream stature). And sure Sly might have seen clips of Dolph's directorial work or heard about it, plus they have the producers now...

These gus are talking some major shit. In my eyes, Dolph never left. He doesn't need a comeback to me, because he hasn't went anywhere! He has always been the badass action SUPERSTAR Dolph Lundgren.

This here is total BS:

Lundgren was never a major star, never on the level of some of the other eighties stars so I don’t know what kind of comeback he’s looking to have,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “Is he looking for a return to the heady days of ‘Red Scorpion’ or ‘I come in Peace’? I mean all power to him, he seems like a nice guy and everything but some people just need to realize that their time has come and gone. Realize that and accept it, not exploit it to try and make a comeback. The thing with Lundgren is he had his shot. He was this muscular, intelligent, charismatic presence. He even spoke English better than his counterparts including the native English speakers and it just didn’t work out for him. He had his shot and it didn’t work out for him, kinda like the dinosaurs. Best of luck to him, but he shouldn’t hold out a whole lot of hope.

WTF, talk about ball busters!

Hmm, yeah, we ALL know Dolph is WAAAY more beneath the supposed superstar Seagal.

This is unbe-fuckin'-lievable, this "article". It sounds like it was copied straight off of TMZ or something.
