I love the sound of his two films in devlopment. "The first is a film he is involved in developing that is going to be set in the U.S. The film is a period piece, set on an Indian reservation and is another western-type film, with an appealing storyline that should be fun to shoot. The other project in the works is a film to be set in Russia, revolving around a samurai-like hit man, a ronin betrayed by his masters, and should be good & violent." I hope he does both, but what really delights me is that Dolph wants to do his own idea rather than doing all the spec scripts offered to him that are probably 12 pages long and not very good. I like the fact that Dolph is probably giving up a substantial proportion of his usually big paychecks now that he's trying to develop his own ideas.
It would be god to see Dolph do this western and also the Russian set film could be the one already mentioned. Who knows maybe Dolph is an interpol agent hunting down the hitman, or he may be the hitman himself, either way it would be interesting, although if he plays the hitman it may be a little similar to the Mechanik. It also might be interesting to cast anotherr action guy as the hitman and have Dolph go mano a mano. That really has to be the best interview yet with the Dolph!

well "rabid" is probably an accurate way to put it!
Because I've been in touch with him since 1998 when he put the website together, he emailed me the link to his interview.

Nice tapes! There's another one by James Brown - Living in America, showing most scenes of the first excebition bout between Apollo Creed and Ivan Drago. I sought for it, but I couldn't find it yet.
In hope for someone who could replace the real Dolph one day if he's (hopefully not as soon) out of business...

Nice find! Never seen these two videos before, though I have seen the Living In America one. I've got the video for Eye Of The Tiger on my hard drive. Maybe when Rocky 6 is released next year, MGM will put together a proper special edition box set with extras for all five movies, not just the first one. These four videos should be in there..

Yes, this is the one I was talking about, even if I am convinced that some sequences were missing- Dolph was shown for more than only in this video.
The quality is not that good, but it made my kb-counter boom anyway. ^^
Nice view of the Americans' life that time.
