The Dolph Lundgren Drink

Postby dolphage on 12 May 2010, 12:24

The Dolph Lundgren Wikipedia page claims that the Dolph Lundgren drink/cocktail is "Bacardi 151 and a raw egg", however whenever I've heard of the DL cocktail before it's always been a version of the recipe featured on:

http://www.drinkswap.com/dolph-lundgren.htm
http://www.idrink.com/v.html?id=12756
http://www.freedrinkrecipes.com/cocktai ... ecipe.html
http://www.barnonedrinks.com/drinks/d/d ... -7234.html

"Ingredients:
2 oz. Orange Juice
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
2 scoop(s) Vanilla Ice Cream
1 oz. Brandy
1 oz. Peach Schnapps
1 oz. Vodka

Instructions
Blend until smooth and serve in a highball glass. Garnish with pineapple chunks."

In other words; pretty much the gayest drink you could possibly make.

Since they are the official DL drink, I WOULD drink them all the time if they didn't guarantee that any female in the vicinity, automatically, started seeing me as her new best girlfriend and wanted to trade make up tips with me.

Also, I'm not into sweet drinks.

So which one is the official (or unofficial, rather) DL drink?

And, if you got to decide, what would the perfect Dolph Lundgren drink/cocktail be?

Obviously.

I would probably go for something a little more masculine than the "pineapple/peach/vanilla" drink, but a little less gross than Bacardi and a raw egg. No, you know what, I might go for undrinkability. Like Aftershock and Fernet Branca mixed with tabasco. (that would be a rough drink)

Dolph actually said in an interview years back (in swedish KING-magazine) that his best cure for a hangover was a shot of Fernet Branca (and something else that i don´t remember)...

DL likes Fernet, good wine (I mean really good one), vodka and tequila.

With the ingredients that you list you could go the other way and make a really classy drink too, that might be more representative of DL. Strong and sophisticated.

I heard him say that on TV too, when asked what use he had of his degree in chemical engineering. I'm glad he's putting his education to good use.

I love a good Moscow Mule. I'm not much of a drinker though to be honest. Never been a beer fan or wine. Don't mind spirits.

I am a big fan of both beer and wine, but ALSO of spirits. Cocktails, not so much. However, if their was a cocktail that was generally accepted as The Dolph Lundgren cocktail/drink I would drink it. By the gallons.
