That's really sad...its such a shame. I can't believe after 17 years that its over and Dolph has moved on so quickly. I know matters of the heart aren't easy and finding love is a good thing but its a bit disrespectful for him to be showing this woman off before the divorce papers are even signed.

Part of me is happy that he's found someone he loves (even if it is more than his current wife) but part of me is quite...disappointed that he's disrespecting his wife/marriage by being shown out and about with his new girlfriend.

Things may appear that way but we don't in which order things happened, and it's none of our business or our place to judge. Who knows how their marriage worked out, or what they agreed to (as Dolph said a while ago, they are "best friends"), and when it became unofficially over.

I used to think that the "divorce" word was horrible, but I found out in recent years that it can be much more healthy than a marriage that is becomes toxic when it's kept for the wrong reasons. Same for the kids, if they are told and explains things the right way they'll go through it and move on much more easily than having to deal with parents who stay married but don't really love each other anymore.

It was announced the same week that Tony Danza is getting divorced.

And I agree it isn't any of our business.

I 100% agree that a bad marriage can be very bad for everyone involved. I just...I dunno. If it happened to me, I still think i'd feel a bit raw over the whole thing.

Celebrity-marriages tend not to last very long, so I'm actually surprised that they were together for 17 years. Still, it doesn't seem to be a "messy" divorce, which is admirable and most of all dignified. It's always a bit sad when a seemingly happy marriage ends, but since I know almost nothing of their private life - and neither should I - I'll just assume it's for the best, and not speculate any further. After all, as other's have already stated, it's really none of our business.

I can't help thinking that Dolph could have done better. I mean he's Dolph Lundgren for chrissakes!

This stuff happens... I've had 3 divorces in my immediate family alone... my parents divorced when I was very young. Sometimes stuff happens and there's really not a whole lot that can be done about it. 17 years is a verrrrry long time to be together for this day and age and they should be commended for it. People move on in relationships and its just a fact of life.. can't really be explained sometimes.

Sad to hear, but I wish both sides the best and hope the kids aren't affected by it too much.

Apparently he's not the only one. This just came as a total surprise for me:
