In Kickass 2 there's a villain named Mother Russia and her look is a complete Ivan Drago rip-off (not so in the comic book, I believe, just the movie)

GOP Congressman goes Dolph Lundgren at reporter
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZUgKTjycHI
“So Congressman Michael Grimm does not want to talk about some of the allegations concerning his campaign finances,” Scotto said before tossing back to the station. But as the camera continued to roll, Grimm walked back up to Scotto and began speaking to him in a low voice.

“What?” Scotto responded. “I just wanted to ask you…”

Grimm: “Let me be clear to you, you ever do that to me again I’ll throw you off this f—–g balcony.”

Scotto: “Why? I just wanted to ask you…”

[[cross talk]]

Grimm: “If you ever do that to me again…”

Scotto: “Why? Why? It’s a valid question.”

[[cross talk]]

Grimm: “No, no, you’re not man enough, you’re not man enough. I’ll break you in half. Like a boy.”

Hi D
I m an Italian fan, my name is Daniele aka Mental Dizzle.
I rap and i holla at ya in my new single called ALICARNASSO.

The verse says "qualcosa C'è che ti sfugge / her verità distrugge / Weapon non Convenzionale / Dolph Lundgren".

The translation means "that's something you do not catch, smash you the truth, not the conventional weapon Dolph Lundgren".

"Weapon non convenzionale" is the italian title of the movie "Dark Angel".

Kerry evokes ‘Rocky IV’ to warn Putin
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/201 ... arn-putin/
Secretary of State John Kerry hailed to Hollywood to make clear that Russian President Vladimir Putin better listen up, and listen up good, to Ukrainians who stood fast for reform: “This is not Rocky IV,” he said.
He referenced the popular Rocky movie — which pit undersized American Rocky Balboa, played by Sylvester Stallone, against Russian giant Drago, played by Dolph Lundgren — as a subtle warning for Mr. Putin to respect Ukraine’s right to govern itself.
In an interview with MSNBC, Mr. Kerry insisted: “This is not Rocky IV. Believe me. We don’t see it that way.”
Mr. Kerry’s remarks were aimed at informing Mr. Putin that the United States wasn’t regarding its relationship with Russia “as a sort of continuation of the Cold War.”
He made the remarks after Mr. Putin ordered his military to take part in a massive drill to assess its combat readiness. The drills are set for an area of Russia that borders Ukraine.

And here policy and Dolph Lundgren? Why you placed this text at a forum? For what?

Because it's a reference to Dolph Lundgren. It has nothing to do with taking sides politically, it has to do with the fact that Dolph Lundgren was mentioned in an article.

A recent, quite amusing article about the 20 year anniversary of German Techno band Scooter says that their "singer", H. P. Baxxter, looks like a mixture of Dolph Lundgren, Annie Lennox and a shot of Henning Voscherau (former mayor of Hamburg, very tall, very slim and always with a friendly smile).

Read it if you understand German, it's quite funny. ;)

I didn't know where to put it (as the info doesn't deserve a self topic), but Dolph is 77th in the Star-o-meter on Imdb this week. Must be the Hollywood reporter and AFM War Pigs annoucements.

Actually it's his birthday last week, it always puts him on the map, especially if his profile appears on IMDB's homepage. ;)
