That really stinks. Don't beat yourself up too much over it. You would think that a magazine like that would be professional enough for you to not have to worry about things like that. I'll cross my fingers and hope it still gets published soon.

Those FCKRS! That pisses me right off! You put hard work into something like this and they do this to you! And, BTW, I think you´re right, you should try to get them to sign a contract beforehand!
Messed up, man!

Combat disappeared on me. They still haven't published my stories (they were the ones who came to me and requested a piece on Dolph, and then an interview), they wouldn't get back to me and last I heard they were holding back because they wouldn't pay the photographer for exclusive pics that were shot under Dolph's initiative. I don't understand how they could run a magazine for more than 20 years if they don't pay for anything... Next time I don't lift my finger before they sign a 10 pages contract I might just hold on to MY interview and send it somewhere else...

Jesus mate, that sucks. They are crap tho as I was in the throws of putting together an interview with Matthew Polly who wrote a book based on his time training with the Shaolin Monks - The Ed of Combat was going for it and then the trail just went dead...
- Lets be honest. This is just a case to you, to me its more. Much more! and if you try and take this disk I'm going to hit you very, very hard!

Thing is when it came up at first, I was just too happy to get the opportunity so I jumped into it thinking it didn't matter, that I had to do this just for the glory and the sake of doing publicity for Dolph and writing on a dear subject of mine which is his karate background...

I just don't understand how they managed to survive if they're so cheap and don't pay for anything or anybody (and it's not like the mag isn't full of advertisings)...

But let's drop the subject

Wow, that was actually pretty good. I've never watched Dolph perform any public martial arts business, except for a clip of him smashing ice with his fist.

Sensei Dolph Lundgren back in the dojo
Swedish action star and 3 Dan kyokushin karateka Dolph Lundgren is filming in Stockholm and has been back in the dojo for the last week.

Sensei Dolph was a great kyokushin fighter before going to Hollywood and participated in the 2nd world tournament as a green belt. I got to fight with him a couple of fights and it was great fun and I was really impressed by his skills. Even though he is over 50 and has not been training kyokushin for a long time he is still in great shape and had definitely not forgotten how to fight. Very nice guy to talk to as well!

He's filming but only little sketches for the Melodifestivalens TV show that he's gonna host later (in February?), they're doing something once every two weeks I think. (Film stuff will not happen until later haha!)
