1986, when I was a kid and my parents saw Rocky 4 on video. I listened at the door frame. Then I had to know everything about Dolph. My mother went to the video store to rent movies by Lundgren for me. I have given Sly, Arni and Chuck Norris movies with mom in order. And so it all began. I love movies, especially action films, and especially Dolph and Sly. Long live my mum and VHS. :D

Haha, that was what I used to do. My door was directly next to their TV, no hallway in between. But I was pretty terrified when I listened to "All Quiet on the Western Front" as a kid. I still remember that... there's a reason why movies have an age rating.

I became a Dolph Fan because of Mickey Rourke - It sounds strange but it's true :) I decided to watch ''The Expendables' just because Mickey Rourke was in it. When I watched the movie I took notice of Dolph, and I really liked his charakter and the way he acted. So I watched ''The Expendables 2'' to see moooooore of Dolph.
All in all: The second part of ''The Expendables'' made me a fan :D

Edit: I became a fan in January 2013 :)

Thank you :)
Yes of cause! I'm looking forward to see Universal Soldier, The Mechanik, Missionary Man, Icarus and Command Performance. And I've already seen Rocky IV, A View To Kill, Expendables 1+2 and Johnny Mnemonic. I hope there'll be more movies with him on TV so I don't have to watch the streams :D

I become his fan after watching Universal Soldier 1. He was such a badass villain in it. Then I watch Joshua Tree and Men of War. Epic movies! It was around 2000-2001. Since then I watch his movies.

Sorry about my English.
I'm Chinese.I haven't known DL for a very long time.It was in 2008 when I was looking for movies about The Punisher that I found the DL's version.I was impressed by this cool guy.I found him a karate champion later and I always liked kung fu guys(I do some ITF taekwondo also). So,since then I have watched lots of his movies.

About 1993, I had this little 9 inch TV, that had really crappy reception so half the time I was watching films in black & white, always fuzzy and lots of static. So here's little me late on a Friday or Saturday night, no school the next day and Universal Soldier starts, I knew who Van Damme was and he looked scared in the jungle and I was getting scared, because who the hell could spook Van Damme like that and then I saw Dolph with the severed ears and I nearly shit my pants!!!!! I was clutching my blanket throughout the rest of the film!

A little white later, I caught Showdown in Little Tokyo. I was a bit scared to see Dolph in the film, but once I clued into the fact he was the good guy I had such a relief! He was so damn funny in the film I totally loved the guy since.

Around 1994, I and my elder brother were watching a black and white TV like you. A TV program about movies started. They started showing different frogments from action movies. Among them were Nowhere to Run and Man of War frogments. NWTR - motorbike chace, MOW - dolph vs. the villain fight. As a small kid my Russian was poor (I live in Kazakhstan) but I think they were cmparing them. I loved both of them and since then Jean-Caude, Dolph and others became my heroes, inspirences.
