Yes Jox it's expensive but it's much better than the Jakks dolls.
...Of course I will not pay, either, 100 usd+shippment on it ,but if I had more money I would have bought it for sure.

For sure, like any other collector item, this isn't of any use, just if you wanna show off you have a mini-Dolph/Drago! But hey I probably wouldn't be here if I didn't get a He-Man figure for my 5th birthday in the first place!

Yes, I know, and I have some Dolph collectors items, too. Right now Dolph is looking over my shoulder from a big UniSol promotional poster. ;) I bought a Bruce Lee action figure for a friend once and he was really happy. It had a nunchaku and this special Bruce Lee board, forgot the name. I think it is just that Dolph is such a sexy guy and those puppets... well, they aren't sexy at all. They are funny. Totally fine as a birthday present for a five year old. So I totally accept action figures of other actors or Orks from WoW, but not Dolph action figures. Guess it's just me.

Interesting new discussion though: How did people become Dolph fans. You got that action figure. I'm a few years older than you are. ;-) So as a teen I was doting on Sly, tried to sneak into the Rambo movies. And then I watched Rocky IV. And I was hooked. From that moment on, Sly began to fade and Dolph was my new star.

That IS an interesting new discussion. You should make a new thread about it. I would do it right now, but I don´t want to steal your thunder (it was your idea).

MEMORABILIA, POSTERS and other MERCHANDISING

Postby Jox on 20 Dec 2007, 00:17

Wanted to open a topic on the subject...

so here is my Christmas present to myself:
just found on ebay the theatrical Pakistani one sheet poster from JOSHUA TREE (Army Of One)!
I'm such a sucker for old fashioned movie posters (that were made with craft and tools other than Photoshop haha)

Image

actually for those interested the seller still has posters from Red Scorpion, Silent Trigger and Bridge of Dragons:

Cool ARMY OF ONE poster there.

I have a bunch of American posters from his films, though they're mostly rolled up in tubes now. The only one I have hanging and framed is from SILENT TRIGGER.

The most unique item I have is the necklace of ears prop from UNIVERSAL SOLDIER which I got off Ebay a couple years back. I'm not sure if they used more than one necklace for the film but at the very least I have one of them.
