Is there any widescreen release without that tv feeling (framerate)? I felt that back in the late 99a only Black Jack and BOD had this weird tv framerate, on both dvd and vhs.

Only on streaming sites where it plays in HD**, and on this US DVD bundle from Echo Bridge:





** But keep in mind that the film has issues due to the old and defective film stock used (which even made Florentine cut some footage because it was corrupt)... So it's never gonna look great, and more likely as if it was shot 10-20 years earlier than it did... That said I wouldn't mind getting a proper Blu-ray.
