There's lots of posters and Ads all around Thailand at the moment. It's also still playing all over so seems to be doing well over here. I've seen a few pirate DVD's floating around though.

EX2 has officially outdone it's predecessor thanks to the international BO... not sure what that means for the 3rd film with the U.S. BO being sorta underwhelming. But anytime a sequel out performs the first film that must mean a 3rd is on the way! :P

You know Nu Image already did sequels of films and DTV that weren't that successful so I don't think we have to worry about third movie being green-lit... That said I hope they conclude the saga with a bang with the third to be the last one.

Yeah this film needs to be the best made and longest a good director is a must like mcteirnan. I see ex3 coming out 2014. After ex3 i don't rlly see any action legends they cud Putin there plus sly will be in his 70s. He's in his 60s now and u can tell the guy although being in great shape doesn't feel the way he did 20 years ago or even 10 years ago.

Now we know why filming the fight between Adkins and Statham was so short
Speaking of mainstream action, how was your experience on ‘The Expendables 2′?

I was very happy to be part of it, and happy with how I came across in the film. I was able to be with the big boys and hold my own. What an honor to be with the people who have inspired you to do what you do. For me, it was like they were saying “Come on, join the club kid! You’ve earned your stripes. Let’s go do the big summer action film!”

I’ve been waiting to see a fight scene between you and Jason Statham for a long time.

Well that pissed me off.

I was curious about that fight, because I did find it a little underwhelming.

Well, listen, those producers are friends of mine and I want them to give me another job. But at the end of the day, what the hell are you doing giving me and Jason Statham two days for a fight scene, and then taking away half a day so you can film some sequence with [tennis star Novak] Djokovic hitting tennis balls at bad guys, which we knew would never be in the movie? People deserved to have a nice showdown at the end of that movie. If I was making it, it would have been different.

I love how Adkins speaks his mind, he seems to not do the Hollywwod bullsh't thing where you never tell the ugly truth. I hope he stays that way, his inteviews are awesome!

Yup, totally agree. He's really the only one who doesn't talk bullshit like "Yes we were all a great family and it's a fantastic movie and everything was so totally fantastic and my co-star and I loved each other so much we will be friends forever!" If he thinks something is good, he says so, if he wants a role or wants to be a big star, he says so, and if something was shitty, he complains. Refreshing. I was often thinking if they try to stop him from doing so.
