This is not an official page, just a camera guy. Can barely spell English properly.

All territories have bene sold and the film is being delivered so releases should come out in the summer and fall.

Hopefully there may be a trailer appearing soon. You'd imagine we might see more official trailers for a couple of D's films after Cannes.

Some seem to come out really quick and others seem to take forever. Is that just down to the distributors?

Pretty much. It's different with every project or the people involved and how they wanna do things. But sometimes it's better for the film. For BLOOD OF REDEMPTION, there's not that much care because VMI told me it's gonna be completed and ready for delivery (to distributors that means) in two weeks already (granted there are no CGI or big effects but still)!

Ah I see so the lack of post production work means it cut and dried sooner and sent out sooner. Kinda makes sense, do know why I never thought about it like that! Que Forest Gump moment.

It's normal, the movie wrapped filming in July last year (and has been completed a couple months ago. One year between shooting and release sounds about right, unlike BLOOD OF REDEMPTION which wrapped production a couple months ago and I'm told is about to be delivered in two weeks (for a possible release towards the end of the year), though BOR doesn't need heavy VFX work...

Aside from Dolph looking like he is sucking a mint, the cover is pretty awesome and I am glad they kept that concept. If anything can appeal to the action fans it is Dolph Lundgren grimacing with a large gun and zombies and robots in the background. And in 3-D too! I hope the UK get a 3-D version, even though it's gimmicky it always just looks a bit more impressive and makes it seem like a higher caliber of film.

I dunno, has anyone seen the German 3D version of IN THE NAME OF THE KING 2 to confirm?

I'm trying to remember what the release timeframe has been like on some of Dolph's other films... If the release date for BOTD is Aug./Sept., then the US release should follow closely, right? Maybe around November at the latest?

On a different note, D shot LEGENDARY roughly around the same time, so that should also get a release by the end of the year I'm estimating...

I haven't. But in general I'm not too keen on 3D.

Yes although it wrapped a bit later because it had a longer production period (overall not D) and was just completed about 3 weeks ago. Will get a HUGE theatrical release (8,000 3D screens + 5,000 2D screens) in China in August. Not sure it locked as many territories distributors-wise yet though that's what the two Cannes were for.

Does the release have an English track to it?
