As for SAF3, I smell cheese...... Bet this camo scene is for flashbacks.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the same about RTTS. I didn't wanna be the first one... RTTS is so embarrassingly bad, it's a flat-out insult. The initial premise and promo (the one where he is driving the Delorian) had promise -- regular, every-day individuals recreating actual stunts from famous action movies. Unfortunately, the actual product is merely a shell of the original premise. All they're doing is competing in absurd contests where the initial "scene" was shot. That's it. TERMINATOR 2... Being strapped to the front of a cruising semi while your partner hits you with paint pellets? Come on... The BRIDESMAIDS stunt was enough to make me quit watching it for good; at that point, I had it. Jox, do you know if this is what Dolph knew the show was gonna be like when he signed on? On one hand, it's fun to see a new side to the guy, but on the other hand, it becomes increasingly embarrassing to see him in the various getups, cracking jokes, etc.
I really can't see Dolph hosting another season of this... Hopefully he opts not to... He's got such a full plate of various acting gigs that maybe he should take a break for once... The sad thing is, Dwayne Johnson is hosting a similar show on TNT called THE HERO. While it's not great by any means, it at least has a tone of seriousness to it and not the goofball slapstick quality that RTTS has. If only Dolph could've taken that job instead...
As it stands, SAF3 should have the potential to be at least better than RTTS... But that's not saying a lot. Perhaps he should talk to his agents about getting a gritty premium cable show going... There are plenty of those (if he wants to continue down the television route)... And I'd much rather see him headline that.
