I hope his Dream will get true and he will get an Lead-Actor, but I doubt that very much. :( the Story of this Movie is always the same it`s boring, nothing New!!!!! I`d watched a lot these kind of Movies (96 Hours ,Human Traffic ) with really great Actors. So I think we don`t need "Skin Trade! Sorry it is my Opinion

Maybe we don't have all cards in hand to judge the script or the movie yet. He can add some interesting stuff in different ways (i remember him saying some thing about a transvestite character in a movie he was writing some times ago). I have faith in him to make a great movie if the producer are willing to give him some freedom, a good movie if the producers are sniffing around.

Almost a year a go I mentioned Thomas Jane as one of the suggestion for Skin Trade main role, and then I sad that I will make teaser poster with him and Dolph, just to see how that will look...well, I finally got some time to do it, and this is what I came up with.
Honestly, original idea was totally different, more in the vein Maximum Risk poster, if you remember that one (but with Dolph and Jane and Moscow instead of Paris), but didn't found material to make something like that, so I made this simple version. Idea was to make a gritty and dark thriller feel. Dont know did I manage to do it, but here it is...

Like always, I have like 20 versions with little differences lol

Cool Dragonrage, thanks! (20 you don't do things halfway do you?!) Did you know that Jane actually got the script to read (and liked it) thanks to the help of Geoff here and me?

The only thing I'd change is the big block of the title and star names, split it more with like names (smaller) on top and title below...

Now if Dolph could get the time to get the production greenlit and make it that would be great. He needs to get back into the director's chair and show what he's got!

Very nice! I like no. 4 - 7 most. Suggest to switch the credits though. "Jane Lundgren" sounds like the female lead. ;-)

Didnt know that! Its awesome news...hopefully Dolph will get the greenlight and Jane will be still interested :D

Will change it. I put it down to fill this empty spot below, but will think of something else...

Yeah...you right. Didn't think about it in that way hehe. I put Jane name first because he would play main role, but it can be other way around to...

Interesting to pair Dolph with Thomas Jane. All they need is to do is include Ray Stevenson and have all three "Punishers" in the same movie!

Dolph is planing to "only" produce and star in SKIN TRADE, he is looking for a director. As far as his next directorial effort, he prefers his World War I project NORDIC LIGHT.

I'm betting on him trying to get Uwe know who  Seriously though, it's probably gonna be someone he either has a good relationship with or he may try for a director who has worked on a "better class" of project to some of his usual outings. That said, I can't wait for Dolph to get back in the directors chair, a WW1 story suits his style as seen from the flashbacks in Icarus, Dolph could pull that off really well.

Problem: I don't see much room there for martial arts.

No indeed, NORDIC LIGHT would be more of a SILENT TRIGGER type of piece, an ambiguous relationship between a Swedish spy and a German soldier (or the other way around) set in a lighthouse, paced with flashbacks from the war.
