I am starting the longer and dramatically different extended cut of Expendables with my brilliant and under appreciated editor Paul Harb .

The DVD/Blu-Ray are for now scheduled for December 1st in Sweden, 13th in the UK, 18th in France.

Looking forward to the Extended Cut ... hopefully it'll fix some of the (minor) problems with the theatrical release.

The Expendables has been released theatrically in Pakistan on 11th September 2010.

It has been released in 2 of the biggest theatres of my city.

I hope to see it in theatres this saturday...

And I hope you'll enjoy it!

Dolph is such a good guy... doing all this promo work with Stallone when he could be elsewhere working on his own projects... if Stallone doesn't write him a bigger part into the next film I may have to see TE2 only a handful of times rather than the the 6 times I've seen TE1.

He's not a fool, he knows this is the best exposure he ever had since ROCKY IV and how important an needed it is for his career. I'm not surprised he's that committed to it. Plus it's not like he's kissing Sly and or anybody else's ass since they're long times buddies so I'm sure he's just having a blast. The great thing is how Dolph gets to do this as if he was one one of the leads and major stars of the film and for some reason happened to have done the most publicity among the rest of the cast (except Sly). And the feedback has been more than positive, even though it might sill be hard to have audience pay a ticket for a Dolph Lundgren vehicle at the theater, most people have welcomed his come back with open harms as if he was an equal to say Mickey Rourke or Van Damme.

Which is exactly what myself and I suppose most of us were hoping for - that The Expendables would put him back in the spotlight. And it has, as much as could be expected. Now with the film being a hit, and the sequel essentially confirmed, his future career is looking even brighter than before. Can't wait to hear about what kind of projects that he will participate in next ...
