Strange. That is, by far, the LEAST funny gag reel I've ever seen but I still love it.

Actually I think that's one of the best ones (or less stupid and boring) I've seen, gag reels are usually terrible, this one is decent.

There are about three laughs and the rest is all filler, like alternative takes and prop malfunctions (without laughter). It's more of a "line-o-rama" reel than a "gag reel". But, like said, I still love seeing all those guys in anything that even resembles a gag reel.

Anyone know if Randy Couture being in the movie (for as small of a role as it was) actually brought viewers in who otherwise would've passed? It's just that him and Steve Austin don't really fit what the original intent Stallone was going for with this movie. Even with Russell and Van Damme passing, Snipes' legal problems and Seagal's issues with the studio (or the studio's issues with Seagal depending on who you ask), wouldn't actors like Bill Paxton and Michael Biehn fit in better with the "old school" than Couture?

I agree...but...
Van Damme not action guy! :D
Van Damme too scenical, too artistic, too sensitive, too "Good Guy".
The Expendables movie not sensitive and not "Good Guy". The Expendables movie the hard reality. Micky Rourke said in the film: our not belive in the Goodness, just we do it make things.

Bill Paxton.... hm. I think Couture is much more believable in this role. Paxton is too comic.

Bill Paxton can do anything, from NEAR DARK to "Big Love", not a hunk but not just a "comic".
