They took a lot more time to edit and complete post than they did on BLOOD OF REDEMPTION (which was really the quickest: shot in February, completed and delivered by May). It's not so much shorter than SKIN TRADE I think. But here the wait between completion and release is indeed fairly short.

They're releasing SKIN TRADE on retail about one month after rental so I assume the same goes for WAR PIGS.

Yes, but the real premiere is the GI film festival which I think the filmmakers are probably putting more focus on thean the Cannes market "industry screening" (too bad I won't make it there this year).

EDIT:
Not sure Dolph will actually attend the GI festival (makes more publicity for them saying it), since the screening is the same date as the Gumball 3000 rally departing from Stockholm...

It half looks pretty good and half looks kinda cheap. Some of the action and effects are decent at first glance and others are a little bit ropey. The acting looks reasonable from what I would consider to be a fun cast and I like the colour grading on a lot of it which I think elevates the film. This could turn out to be good, still hopeful after the trailer!

There is a certain sense of low budget, but it definitely doesn't feel cheap or amateurish. I think it's my computer, but I didn't hear a word of dialogue, it all sounded like mumbling.
