Yeah I'm gonna hold back from asking any more questions, I don't want to spoil it for other people either. At least we know a little bit about the fight. That will do for me.

I just got an update from Dolph who briefly said that the shoot "went well". He's back in Vancouver prepping ICARUS now.

Great!! That's good to hear, I'm glad he was on-board and participated in the movie, even if only for a short time to fight JC and bring Andrew Scott back to the screen. Next!!...

Reported by 'Nofear' on the VD board from director John Hyams:
"Dolph was in town and phenomenal to work with. I've never dealt with an actor more professional, hard working and full of well thought out ideas. everybody loved having him around. we filmed an incredible fight between him and JC that I think rivals anything they've done together onscreen, and I can't wait for the world to see it."

Well finally positive news :D, everyone seems to really be excited about this movie now, more than ever, I'm glad Dolph was on board only for a short time, wish he had more time on screen, it would be nice to see JC and Dolph as buddy buddy partners in a future movie :D

Yeah that would be cool. One of them could turn bad though because I hate it when two action heroes team up and they don't fight.. Even Dolph had a little bout with Brandon Lee so perhaps something like that.

From Sheldon Lettich:
JC told me it's got a guaranteed release on 600 screens in the U.S. I would guess this means that Sony will release it via Screen Gems.

http://thevandammefans.vandammefan.net/ ... 998&page=8
I'd say even if it's true, there's still months to come before this happens so they could change their minds so it's good news but I wouldn't get my hopes up (THE INQUIRY was also scheduled for 600 screens and ended up re-scheduled 8 months later in one theater in Texas for a week).

The other rumor is that filming is going behind schedule but who knows if the source is reliable.

Van Damme has wrapped his part too now.

There's no way US3 is gonna go to theaters. Would love to see it happen but Sony sees this just like it saw STARSHIP TROOPERS 3 or ART OF WAR 2. There's no way they're gonna invest the money to release it in theaters, not to mention the money to advertise the fact that it's in theaters.

if it is released in theaters, it will probably be 6 screens, no way it will be 600, it won't happen, Sony is to
F!@#$$NG cheap.
