Wish granted!
(I´m a genie) (Oh, wait, no I'm not, sorry)

But, yeah, this film could be INSANELY sweet, but I would have to agree that all the post production needs to be spot on. I´m always worried about the score...
And most importantly I need to do the voice over for the trailer, otherwise the whole thing´ll go down the toilet! For sure!

Can´t wait for the teaser...

Hey, your pic might scare me but you definitely get my vote for that voice over!

You mean you didn't get the job voicing all trailers when Don LaFontaine died?

Consider this your audition. I'm sure you can give us the script for the Icarus trailer ;) But make sure it uses the stock phrases found in all movie trailers like 'In a world where...' and 'now only one man can save...'

No way, I have to WRITE the trailer script too? Not fair. Tell you what, if everyone (or someone) writes their own trailer script for Icarus, I promise to record the best one (and maybe sync it with the teaser or something). Sort of like we did with Comand Performance, only not ENTIRELY consisting of taglines this time...

ANything for the D-man.

Mike, Why would you want to hear it in Swedish? I mean, I´ll do it if you want to hear it. It´s a bit of a random request, though. Are you, per chance, "taking the mick"?

(I´m showing a vast knowledge of British English by using that expression)

Not at all! Swedish is my favourite unintelligible language ;)

First of all, can I salute the great Swedish education system that allows you to speak English wot like we do.

But I think we should have a Swedish trailer as a tribute to the great man himself.

BTW are Big D's movie's ever dubbed into Swedish? Or do you have to put up with subtitling?

Movies in Sweden are never dubbed, except for some children's movies here and there of course. And I guess that the Swedes who watch Dolph's movies don't use subtitles for them? At least I don't, I want to concentrate on what's going on ;)

All right, calm down, they were just asking if foreign films were dubbed in Sweden, no need to get upset!

And I must say, Luigi (if that IS your real name...) ( :? ) that the slogan for the Dolph Blog (Dolphbloggen) is awesome; "About Dolph, for Dolph, not by Dolph". It´s good AND funny (my favourite combination).

As soon as the Icarus teaser is out I´m gonna voice over the fck out of it! In swedish, english, spanish, french and german!

Actually I think that was Luigi's suggestion for an Icarus trailer voiceover - it sums up a Dolph Lundgren movie pretty well.

It's the translation of "Spring era djävlar!" that I brought up just before and which is a line from MEN OF WAR right before he shoots with his Carl Gustav rocket launcher.

He he, I'm not upset at all, just a translation of your signature :)

Thanks! :) Yeah, it kinda sums up the blog quite well I think! Luigi is not my real name, though I wish my mother would have given me that italian name instead of my swedish name!

I'm kinda new here, but have you done voiceovers for some movies before? And the new user Anji-san who runs the blog with me speaks japanese, so maybe he can do a japanese voiceover for Icarus :D I'll have to ask him!

It would be fun if it would fit in the movie, like a homage to Men Of War!

Aside from his singing, Dolphage treated us with the heavy-metal edition of the CP promo:
