I was wondering ... will they try to get someone well known to play the main bad guy, or will they stick with a good-but-unknown actor (like Dave legeno for CP) ?

Nothing major, but Jaa mentions he'll film SPL 2 in the spring of 2014 after he wraps SKIN TRADE:

SPL 2 will shoot next Spring after I finish the shoot of Skin Trade with my friend Dolph Lundgren. I am heading back to Atlanta for the rest of the Fast and Furious 7 shoot. Best Wishes TJ

Okay, so even for him, the shooting seems "set in stones" (even if we'll only be sure on the first day of shooting).
THat's cool for SPL2. Him fighting Donnie Yen is just really exciting.

Good (probably advised by Marc Windon ?). Cinematography on these 3 movies was solid. This looks better and better everyday.

Soi Cowboy is one of my favourite places on Earth! Dolph and Jaa running around kicking ass will be an awesome sight given I've been drunk there repeatedly!

Production designer and costume designer's names have been added on IMDB (as well as a couple others), both award winners in Thailand.
