Now that you mention it I can see the resemblance.

I've watched BotD yesterday and thought that it was an appropriate movie for Halloween. Big fun! I must say that this is the best of recent Dolph movies. The look of the movie wasn't as cheap as all those eastern European productions, only that big hotel seemed a bit low budget ("Let's place a desk somewhere in that giant lobby and we have our refuge"). But the overall scenery was interesting and well illuminated. One interesting scene was set up like a shadow theater (is that the right term?!). I found that a nice variation. The dialogues were good, all actors convincing and Dolph kicked some serious ass. A lot of bullets fired, a lot of high kicks, hack and slash with knifes and an axe.

I think that was the best part of the movie. Dolph kicking ass like we haven't seen it in a really long time. Hell, I have appreciated that. Plus, his haircut is ace.

This movie will sell a fuck-ton with that cover - not least of all because people pay confuse Dolph for Harrison Ford (actually I think from the hair, down to underneath the eye is actually a HF image ripped off something else - a little like Dolph's head stuck on The Rock's body) - but this is the kinda cover that will ensure the movie kills in the rental/DVD charts - people will pick it up based on that alone.

Hm, that implies that people will overlook that bold red letters saying "DOLPH LUNDGREN" just across that hair. But hey... the average video rental customer...

Hopefully. They should have released it months ago though. I hope piracy didn't kill its chances. Ditto for the U.S. where it'll likely be out again a couple more months later.

It shouldn't come as a surprise but there most likely won't be any special features with the UK edition. I have a check disc and it has nothing, just some trailers for other (shit) films before the main menu loads.

I love how the back cover unabashedly uses an image from THE EXPENDABLES 2...
