German release will be in DVD, BLU-RAY, and 3D BLU-RAY (pretty sure it was not shot in 3D as initially planned though)...

I don't know whether to condemn Dolph for accepting to star in such kak or pity him for having to pay off his divorce. Either way he'll be staying away from Boll and likely Danny Lerner in future if he can, and I hope that next time he has to do something purely for the money that he can at least pick a script that has some potential value to his career and that interests him a little.

I saw ITNOTK2 on a press screener yesterday, and well it's all we expect (silly none-sensical script and dialogs, very low budget for a fantasy film, pedestrian action and acting etc) and yet it wasn't as bad or boring as I expected. The music composed (and orchestrated, not computer or synthesizer generated) by Jessica Rooij is indeed it's best asset and makes you keep your interest and attention, and Matthias Neumann's cinematography in Vancouver's Golden Ears Park is pretty nice. Dolph is pretty grim and depressed, as his character but enlightens in a good way with rarely seen expressions at times. You almost wish this was a serious, contemporary movie and it might been interesting. This is the first entire movie by Uwe Boll that I've seen and had heard lots of things but in this one technically it's not bad filmmaking, too much of it is just ludicrous and doesn't make sense is all. If you close your eyes on some aspects then it's much better than AGENT RED, RETROGRADE and the likes. Too bad Dolph had to do it after he had turned it down first and following up THE EXPENDABLES.

Have to listen to the commentaries now...
