I wonder if they paid money for some guy to make that atrocious poster?

You mean this guy?

Actually he makes posters for free, on one condition: There must be helicopters on them.

Cool interview. Movieset provides killer material! Good production values and content.

On a different note. I surfed through Bo Svensons IMDB-trivia and found this:

"Two days after completing his starring role with Dolph Lundgren in the action-packed motion picture ICARUS, which Lundgren also directed, Svenson competed in the 2009 USA Judo National Championships and won silver in the 90 kg division - despite the three broken ribs he had suffered ten days earlier."

Bo is bad ass! This must mean he broke his ribs on the ICARUS-set (Go easy on the cast Dolph  ).
Didnt know he was such an acomplished martial artist either.

This guy must be in his 60s and he's still winning judo championships? You know, there *might* be someone scarier than Big D out there!

I like the last one best, it's very stylish and kind of mysterious.

Mine's the one in the middle, because everyone has done there version of Dolph with that blue background (that last one), and there's just something exciting in seeing the different approach used in the middle shot.

I always assumed the publicity shots for movies were there so that resellers and distributors could get their own materials together.

That's just nasty - really, really bad.

Impressions on the shoot from Samantha Ferris on her [urlhttp://samanthaferris.net/?subaction=showcomments&id=1241199257&archive=&start_from=&ucat=&]site[/url]
So the Dolph Lundgren movie was interesting. Nice guy.....great to watch on screen....but the shoot was a little crazy. See, he is an actor, right? But this time he was the director, too. Trying to do both has gotta be a tough gig which made things a little hairy at times. Long days, weird shots, disorganzation seem to be the order of the day but all in all it was good. I got to play this great character......she was a kickass ex CIA arms dealer who was not who she made out to be....not going to ruin it, but i wouldn't have trusted me. I got to shoot guns (always fun in a kind of sick, controlling way), wear interesting outfits (head to toe leather) and have runs ins with pitchforks....yay!

BTW, who else thinks that Missionary Man styled Icarus poster looks almost exactly like his North American DVD release of Hidden Agenda?

Yeah for sure it probably is the same source (since we know nonce of the elements from that HA cover were genuine either. Anyway I think this advance ICARUS artwork was probably made at the same time or before the other one with the JILL RIPS headshot and I found it on a Romanian distributor's site, it shouldn't be a big deal.

Ooooo, those looks OUTSTANDING in hi-res! I certainly hope that big studios do pick up Icarus for a theatrical release after The Expendables comes out and does it's glorious numbers.
