I didn't find anything other than rumors about Gary Daniels, source anyone?

That article sort of proves what I had thought in that 50 was more Nu Image's idea as a replacement for Whitaker than Sly's. Instead of the Internet changing Sly's mind maybe he just sat down and watched 50 in a couple of films. That would get any director in the mood to recast.

I certainly wouldn't want Stallone, or any director, to listen too much to what is said on the Internet. But if the negative feedback to 50's ousting played some role in Sly going with Terry Crews then in this instance I'd say the Internet was right.

Generally the more intelligent and "experienced" fans know best, Sly is wise to listen to the advice on the net. Never ceases to amaze me, the man is damn cool.

It does look good except the head of Stallone doesn't go with the body

According to this Brazilian site, filming would be pushed back of one week to start April 6th (one rumor is that it's because Statham has a throat problem).

I'm surprised Statham is scheduled to do much filming in early April. I would think he'd have to be doing publicity for CRANK 2 since it comes out in just a few weeks.

He seems to be rather busy overall. Crank: High Voltage is getting a lot of internet promotion too and I hope it is more successful than the first because Statham deserves it, he knows what the fans want. Didn't he also just finish filming that movie "13" with Mickey Rourke? He is a busy guy, just like Dolph.

Yeah, Statham has been cranking (pun intended) movies out left and right the past few years. Unfortunately, a lot of the ones he has done lately like DUNGEON SIEGE, DEATH RACE, and TRANSPORTER 3 have been underwhelming to say the least. But I'm a huge fan of CRANK and can't wait to see part 2.

Nice improvement on the first poster. I can understand why Dolph didn't get a big name with his fourth billing, but I still have a big grin on my face to see that Dolph's name is on a movie poster again.

I haven't seen Dungeon Siege but I liked Transporter 3 and Death Race a lot. I didn't plan to watch DR first and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Better than Crank actually... well, a matte of taste I guess. ;)

Jox, I think that Nu Image poster is pretty lame. The fan made is way better... especially because Danny Trejo is still in that cast.

What did you expect from them? At least they didn't use photos from older movies like they do for they low budgets! This is not really intended for the public, just to sell the movie to foreign distributors, and here all they need is the names. It's not the first time, especially for a big budget movie that's not started filming yet. I'm there will be real teaser posters in the future...

I would buy the rights to it if it ONLY had Dolph's name on the poster... :D

Seagal in Expendables!
We've been given exclusive information, information that we have since confirmed with our inside sources, that after much deliberation, Steven Seagal has been cast in Sylvester Stallone's testosterone-filled epic THE EXPENDABLES!!!
