I don't think anybody expected it otherwise, but at least it's too bad either as this movie could have been catastrophic (look no further than UNISOL THE RETURN) especially considering the lack of interest from everybody involved from JC to Dolph and the producers who only care about the cash.

I bet JCVD sleepwalks throughout the movie, and the new characters who seem to play a big part don't seem very interesting (not mentioning it sounds like it's gonna look quite cheap). So I wouldn't care about it if Dolph wasn't there, and even now I wouldn't mind only seeing a 10-15mins cut with only the Dolph scenes.

Think you've said just about everything I was thinking Jox. JC will look like shit, act like shit and fight like shit. Dolph will shine in his 15 mins on-screen and probably have the best performance/dialogue of the movie and the others will be uninteresting with little to no charisma or anything to recommend them taking up a career as an action movie star. Dolph just gets better, he's really going for it this time with the promotion on everything he's in. Guy must be about to crack up with the workload but next year is gonna be fantastic for us fans.

These are really nice pictures, the guys seemed to have a lot of fun and were in a great mood. Nice! And Jox, I agree, I'll wait for someone to delivere a nice youtube version just consisting of Dolph's scenes, that should suffice.

Jox wrote:Dolph has more than one scene (but don't expect too many either). I think his appearance should be similar in length to the JOHNNY MNEMONIC final cut except for the final fight which should be relatively long (several rooms and locations, enough to have it run 5 to 10mins maybe)...

If it's like you said Jox, then i'll be more then happy and will treat this movie as a Dolph and JC movie equally :)

It IS fair, Jox has done a lot for Dolph Lundgren for many years and has earned the right to be more closely involved in The Big Guys buisness.

Just caught the Q&A on Youtube but it was since removed...

Release around February, could be a theatrical release but John Hyams' words it sounded like this was still not locked and that was one of the reasons behind this screening, to bring it to a festival aimed at film fans that could spread the good word about it and help the chances of theatrical release (but it sounds like it could be in February)

Glad i caught this in time, not so much stuff about the movie than general questions to Andrei and Dolph (nothing we don't know) but that was fun.

They screened it on 35mm print although it was shot digitally with the new RED camera and apparently it looked great that way.

Oh and there's a cool nod to someone's favorite movie here at some point in the film...

I'll let someone else speak for me and can't wait to hear it but as for me I'll just say: "has been trying to carve Dolph Lundgren's name in bold letters as part of the cinema History to be remembered"
Forgive me for not knowing.

You're fairly new on this board so don't worry, you're forgiven haha!
