Another interview with Uwe, mentions Dolph's "dry wit" and why his wife doesnt like his films...... No comments from me there!

It means approximatively nothing, and it's not really interesting, but the movie is 27th on imdb movie meter (gained 5999 places since last week). The expendables 2 is 11th,

Yeah I noticed that happens when a movie appears on download sites, which happened last week or so for this one. Nowadays in terms of mainstream visibility and popularity it's like if it was released theatrically, so people check out those sites and see this and go to the imdb page. Same with EX2 with the teaser (which has millions of views on YouTube (not mentioning the official iTunes and website pages).

www.imdb.com fact of the day

In the Name of the King 2: Two Worlds
The name of Dolph Lundgren's character is Granger. Granger is another word for Farmer. The name of Statham's character from the first movie was Farmer, as is the default name of the protagonist from the game Dungeon Siege.

I just picked up ITNOTK 2 at Best Buy-$12.99 DVD and $17.99 BluRay in the US. That's not too much for everyone here to go out and buy it to at least show support for Dolph. The Behind The Scenes feature-decent interview with Dolph- and interview with the writer are interesting.

It is what it is. Probably will grab it just to hear the usual crazy boll ranting.

I'm definitely picking up a dvd copy of this, tonight, after i get off of work.

I was watching a screener copy or something that someone gave me, and i fell asleep for about 5-10 minutes during part of the scene with the dragon, and then woke up and saw the end of the movie.

It was cheesy and the storyline made no sense...

But, having collected all of Dolph's films, including Pentathlon (which I still need to find an English version of), I feel the necessity to buy this, too. Dolph had some good one-liners in it, from what I can remember. He made it worth watching.

Interview with Natassia Malthe

it was the fastest shooting movie I’ve ever seen Uwe do in his life. I was wrapped at 2PM everyday! It was just go, go, and go.

Just watched ITNOK2 with director Uwe Boll's commentary. Despite taking a phone call in the middle of the commentary, he does offer some interesting insight into the filming, the explosion on set, and getting Dolph Lundgren attached. Apparently, according to Uwe, Dolph initially turned down the role (which we already knew) and had Steve Austin lined up. When Dolph accepted it on second thought, the lead went to him.

Interesting that this was close to starring Austin; we probably wouldn't be talking about it now.
