Forgive me for not knowing.

Where to begin?

Even though Jox didn't start this site, he's been running it now for a very long time and has made it a fantastic haven for Lundgren's fans around the world to come together and discuss the man's films.

But that was just the start. His hard work has led to him being in charge of the official COMMAND PERFORMANCE website. Click on the link in Jox's sig, you'll see that the site for COMMAND PERFORMANCE is as good and full of as much content as you'll see on websites promoting major studio released films.

In addition if you see a site like Joblo or similar movie sites run a story about a Lundgren film, odds are quite good that it was a tip from Jox that led to that site running that story. This is huge, because it gets information out to folks who aren't the hardcore fans who would come to a site like this one.

Jox has more than earned the professional/personal relationship he has now with Lundgren. Any actor/director would be fortunate to have someone as dedicated helping to get their name out to the masses.

I second that! Jox is a better promotor of Dolph than any hired professional could ever be because he puts his heart into this, not only his knowledge.

When the first creator of the Dolph site gave it up, the old forum was in a terrible condition. It wasn't maintained so it was just a trollfest spammed by idiots from around the net. So Jox took over the main site and I offered to run the forum on my site with a different software and an avid agenda too keep trolls and other spammers away. Since his job is much bigger than mine, he would technically deserve the role of Dolph's right hand or the main bad guy in the next movie, while I would be "Evil person #3 in scene #142". But I still want to be on one of his movies. ;-) Guess most of us should be just for the fact that we have been following Dolph for decades.

And no, Warchild, I would not ban you for that remark, especially now that you support my candidature.

Jox can eat flour and shit cupcakes! That's how good he is. 8) He's visited Dolph on set of a few of his recent flicks too, so he's definitely doing something right.

It's good to have someone like Jox or mosquito around to keep us fans updated on Dolph movies at least once a week. JC which i also like, only updates his site once every six months, how terrible that is and what is the use of having a site if he doesn't give any info on his movies.

Is it just me or are these "sucking-up-to-Jox"-sessions coming along more and more frequently these days? Don't get me wrong I enjoy getting my nose brown as much as the next gal, but where does it stop? I still taste ass every time i swallow from the last time.

In short, algren; Jox is tireless in his efforts to help the Big Guy's career, he started out as a fan (and a little bit of a nerd) and is now a trusted ally of Dolph's and the, highly respected, leader of the Dolph-a-maniacs. We adore him.

By the way, what do you guys think of the upcoming movie Universal Soldier III?

Well when MISSIONARY MAN was gonna come out in the US I contacted Sony to get some publicity material (imagine how us here were excited about it being the follow up to THE DEFENDER and THE MECHANIK!) and promote it on this site. One day of nowhere the publicist asked me if i wanted to have 15mins phone interview with Mr Lundgren two days later which resulted in a "couldn't be better way to not only meet with your idol but wining his respect as well"... so here you can listen or read the interview. So a few weeks later he suggested I stop by the DIRECT CONTACT shoot and start a website for it; so this site was never finalized with this title for some reasons but Dolph made it happen with COMMAND (for which I'm also proud to have suggested the teaser idea and concept which he improved)...

Can you get Dolph to post here or do a clip for us fans of the forum?

yeah you know we've been discussing that sort of stuff and interaction with fans etc; things just got a little crazy this year so everything we've been working has taken longer than I thought with delays, hold and changes but anyway I hope we bring you more goodies and exclusives in the future...

Is it just me or are these "sucking-up-to-Jox"-sessions coming along more and more frequently these days?

It's making me embarrassed myself but got it feels good!

OK so now Algren's been filled in, let's talk UNISOL III (have you guys watched the Q&A I just posted the link to this morning?) and stop kissing my red ass (the common practice on a Dolph board should be more like kicking some ass)!

I watched it. Dolph again was great when responding to questions. Especially liked when he told Andrei not to worry about having so few lines in his first film, something about "You have more than I had in my first movie."

I've mainly just been interested in US3 for Dolph's scenes but now I'm a little more optimistic that the whole film might be entertaining. Still worried about Van Damme since I know this was one he really didn't want to do. Even if he was just doing it to avoid a lawsuit it would be nice if he could realize that once he was on set it was in his best interest to make it the best movie possible.

Still doubt it's gonna get a theatrical release in the states.

Well..I'm also doubting the theatrical release, it seems to be a cross between a really good-looking above average DTV movie, and a run-of-the-mill theatrical flick, like 12 Rounds with John Cena for example, where almost everything is by the book. It seems though that the film will be unique in it's look and making Sofia look better than it usually does, however that does not mean a theatrical release, as films shot in the US with huge budgets obviously have a lot more going for them. I guess the good points of US-3 and the potential it has will have to be focused on and marketed to it's strengths.
Dolph is great, he went out of his way to attend a screening for a film which he is essentially only in for about 15 minutes, estimated, but who knows, Dolph is a fast worker, he's got good ideas and it sounds like his scenes in the movie stand out the most from anything, I reckon he'll steal the show like in the first movie. Van Damme I think was probably a prima-donna on the set as usual, Dolph is so grounded, such a gentleman and would probably be an awesome person to sit down and talk action movies with like a mate, Van Damme just seems like an egotistical dick, believe me I can tell he was like that on this movie just from the comments. Where was he at the screening, on another 3 hour lunchbreak or 12 hour binge drink in Bulgaria? Seriously the man doesn't give a fuck, Dolph does. Comments and thoughts?!!

When i heard that US3 was going to happen with JC, i was so excited, but my expections of JC making a great movie as declined alot since i read alot bad comments regarding his attitude, towards this movie, JC not giving a sh1t how the moovie turns out, i really want to see this movie now more because Dolph is in it, even if it's a small cameo, at least i know Dolph put the effort and he cares about this movie going theatrical, and SG Andrew Scott is the best role Dolph has ever played and i'm so glad we will see him again 8) , i always wanted Dolph to make a trilogy regarding one of his characters, maybe we will see him again in US4, this time has a good guy

Not just that, he always seems to find something good to say about the people he's worked with and what they've produced - even when (as in the past) the movie hasn't been so great. That's a very kind thing to do for people who may have flogged their guts out.

A class act and a nice guy.

Yeah he is a really kind guy. A few people have commented on how bad JC was to work with, I think maybe Dolph just didn't want to say it. But Scott Adkins did and Andrei hinted at it there. I'm glad Dolph talked about The Expendables too.
