The music in the film was a synth score and to me was something that was reminiscent of the John carpenter movies that I loved growing up, like The Thing, Carpenter would always his they great synth scores. Another piece we used was the group Tangerine Dream did a great score for the movie ‘Sorcerer’ and taking a note from films like Blade Runner, movies influenced me and my idea of science fiction and action film making

Oh boy I hope not. That looks pretty lame. Van Damme just needs a speech bubble coming out his mouth saying "Get me the fuck outta this thing!" judging by that pic. And Dolph's speech bubble will say "why did they make Van Damme look taller than me?!"

Ummm are those heads actually attached to the bodies? That looks like someone scored F in their 'Photoshop for the Blind' class.

The only plus point - it's a Big-D cover that doesn't have an explosion in the background.

Exactly how I envisioned it, down to the letter. When I saw Jox posted it on the JC forum I thought I was dreaming. I pictured it with blue and red with the three of them standing at the front exactly like that. Photoshopping is terrible, looks very very very cheap. Almost cartoonish. Just sucks altogether to be honest, the better neaten it the fuck up before release, and I don't just mean add a shit tagline.

Sweet christmas, that has to be one of the absolute most horrid of all dvd photoshop covers I have ever seen. Van Damme looks like the body is in front of the head and Dolph's head seems to be a pic of him standing out in the cold, but stretched out. And the background just makes it look like a sequel to Class of 1999. Just awful.

That cannot possibly be considered as a realistic option for the cover! I'm sorry but I don't believe it.

The guy who posted it in high-resolution on a movie poster site only posts official material from studios and confirmed this came from Sony... Now I know some people have contacted John Hyams so he can talk them out of it (especially since they probably have a dozen options but happened to choose the worst one).

That it was considered as a possible starting point but would never make it all the way to production I DO believe! That's not so strange. But that the actual cover will look like (a fixed up version of) that is just IMPOSSIBLE. Don't get me wrong; those three faces with JC in the middle and a big logo on top will almost certainly make it onto the final product, but nothing that looks REMOTELY that bad.

If it wasn't for JC's stardom it would have made more sense to have Arlovski in the middle slightly facing our left and JC and DL on either side facing him/eachother (JC on OUR left facing inwards).

There might still be some weapons and fire/explosions added, like it or not.

Whatever it ends up being, they have utterly poor taste and common sense (I don't care how much you add to polish this the whole concept is bad), or they purposely make these movies look cheap and bad to differentiate from the theatrical stuff... Whatever, I never cared or expected much for this one. If this flops maybe they'll question and revise their publicity policies. It's barely a Dolph movie anyway.

Although they are more likely to palm it off that JC and Dolph are washed-up and decrease their budgets for future movies again..

Infinitely better than the "official one". The colors are great. It's a little confusing, though. And Dolphs head is obviously way to big for a bad guy cameo.

Well...yeah...but as I said on JC forum...the reason why Dolph is big, is because there is actually no picture of Dolph from US3...no official picture that could be used for poster...just couple of behind the scenes that are not good...and the idea/concept was that he is ultimate bad guy...after all...JC has final fight with him, so to hide that this is not actually picture of him from this movie...I decided just to show his face.
But yeah...if I had a chance to use some other Dolph's picture...I would use it... :)
