They did it before LEGENDARY in China as well, and I think I saw a similar ceremony held in Japan on the set of a Kitano movie.

DRC2013 wrote:Oh man, Dolph posted a picture of the blessing ceremony on his FB and wrote something like "Hope the Gods are with us." and some people in the comment section got seriously pissed off.
They're writing stuff like "There is only ONE true God" etc. One guy even started to recite the Bible.

Just got reminded why I tend to not read comments on Facebook.

Yeah people comments on FB are toxic (waste), don't read them. I used moderate them daily when there was less fans and it drove me nuts.

Now it's so pathetic I try to find rather hilarious that they take it so seriously and can't read between the lines that Dolph surely said that in a light way in regards to the context.

I realize it wasn't such a bad thing to name drop Seagal's name once back then because people heard about the project which now has an identity among the action community so a many are intrigued or looking forward to it, especially with this cast. Since Jaa is a big national star I also expect the film to received at last a decent theatrical release over there and the potential for good business. By the way I can't confirm if the $9 million budget figure is correct but if it is then it would be huge for a Thai movie ($5 million is already a big movie over there). But with this cast, two months shooting + maybe a couple of weeks or more in Vancouver that's not unrealistic.

As a Muslim I believe there's only one God in the heaven (clearly, without any doubt). But it was NOT me posted the religional contexed comments on Dolph's fb.

It's waiste of time.

I don't think Dolph was truly serious with his commets.

btw Really looking forward to pics with the whole cast.

No, Dolph is just a demigod. But hey, he's the most handsome one.

Michael Jai White happened to be in New Orleans when US4 was filming so he visited his pals on the the set of course and for a year people thought he would make a "surprise cameo" despite confirmations that he wasn't... I don't think there's any non-Thai role left that could suit him and I don't see him being a Serb goon. On holiday and moral support to his pals?

I just hope today situation in BKK won't affect the schedule. Or not too much.

BTW, reading the Tony Jaa fb is really funny. The guy seems like a nice person. It's cool Dolph has this kind of connections ;)

Wednesday normally.

No.

It may not be as big as we think. Our infamous French protests thankfully don't shutdown everything.

BTW, reading the Tony Jaa fb is really funny.

Yeah although I think most of it is from his manager.

Today should be D-day.
Celina Jade just greeted Michael Jai White (whom she share the Arrow qhow with) Tony Jaa and Dolph via tweeter. She should be on the set soon I guess.
