I have to listen to my Goddard and Anne Coates interviews again, but the ones he's not dubbed sure, and I'm sure they tried to improve his delivery (since Goddard found that Dolph was better at saying his lines during rehearsals than when cameras were rolling). It's Spielberg who says the key to ADR is make it improve the actors performances...

Curtis Clark was the initial cinematographer, filming the first part of the shoot before Goddard felt they weren't on the same page (same with initial production designer Geoffrey Kirkland earlier on during pre-production).

HeManWorld.com, Rainbow Cinemas and Commissionaires – Great Lakes are working together to coordinate a toy drive for the children of Syrian refugee families. As part of Canada’s commitment to accept 25,000 Syrian refugees, Ontario is welcoming a number of refugee families — many of whom have young children. This special screening of the 1987 Masters of the Universe movie is doubling as a Toy Drive to offer toys to Syrian Refugee families. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new stuffed animal, boardgame, or toy to donate to the drive.

MattyCollector.com and Super7 have generously donated cool toys to give away as prizes to attendees at the screening. See you at the movies!

Wednesday, January 13 at 9:30 p.m. Tickets only $6!

Rainbow Cinemas Market Square, 80 Front Street East, Toronto, Ontario.

John T. Atkin
Many thanks to everyone who came to the 1987 "Masters of the Universe" screening in Toronto this evening. All of the toy donations for the Syrian refugees was greatly appreciated. A special thanks to Mattel Canada Inc., who donated over 200 toys for the children who now call Canada home. This was a special night to remember, and a fun time was had by all. As He-Man would say, good journey!
