Same here, but note that DC has also come out on Blu-ray in Netherlands and Scandinavia.

I've seen a top 50 rental chart on IMDB and DIRECT CONTACT wasn't on it. But there are other films ahead of DIRECT CONTACT on that top 10 list that also aren't on the top 50 IMDB list (Seagal's DRIVEN TO KILL, new ANACONDAS movie, new DR. DOLITTLE flick) which makes me wonder how that IMDB list is compiled.

But I guess it's at least doing better (and deservedly so) than RETROGRADE which I don't recall making any top 10 DTV/overall 50 rental lists.

Those top 10 movies are the top 10 non theatrical releases this month, it looks like The devil's Tomb is the closest that came to a top 50, nowadays there are more movies than ever before being made, so it's getting tougher for guys like Seagal and van damme to stay in the top 50, they are fading away which is sad to see, but it looks like Dolph is making a comeback, even though direct contact did not make the top 50, it looks like id did pretty well if it is right behind seagal's Driven to kill :)

Same here dude, waiting with baited breath. I am expecting CP to get higher than MM for a start. Top 10 if we're reallllllly lucky and Dolph promotes it to hell.

DC's Japnese English title is "Guardian"!
(just released for rental, on retail in August possibly with behind the scenes extras according to CDJapan)

Man, the japanese cover looks good but it's incredibly misleading! If I rented a movie with that cover I'd excpect a real Hong-Kong style brawl or at least that Dolph at some point in the movie FIRES TWO GUNS AT THE SAME TIME. That's kinda false advertising. But it looks cool.

Wow, strange photoshop job but it's a really awesome cover. All of the Japanese covers have some weird likeability factor about them, they look so cool. Thanks Jox.

That cover's very epic, although it looks kinda shitty since Dolph's head doesn't go along with the body. Gotta love Japanese movie covers...
