well I have just watched it and have to say that I loved it. Love the style of noir that Dolph was going for and his acting was the best that I have seen for a long time. I was really wanting to see some more karate from him though but will have to wait for The Expendables. I now know what Jox meant about the music though, good song on the opening credits but it seems out of place with teh rest of the film. REALLY ENJOYED IT. Really liked the extras on the dvd (the german one, yes I know you warned me J but I couldnt waitto watch the film) it was good to watch the behind the scenes stuff.
- Lets be honest. This is just a case to you, to me its more. Much more! and if you try and take this disk I'm going to hit you very, very hard!

ICARUS will be released in the UK by Anchor Bay on August 16 (DVD & Blu-Ray) as THE KILLING MACHINE (which I think is an old working title)!

It probably worked better when it was linked to that first concept where Dolph was literally playing an assassin who was an actual bad guy and probably had a higher body count or pleasure for killing...

It had better be in 2-35, or I will kick Anchor bays ass!

They did 235 for Men Of War though.

I hope we get features too. But yeah, nicely timed for just prior to the Expendables, so when the sales begin dwindling, there should be a brief boost after TE comes out.

Man I never even twigged that with the release of TE, good call Tom. Maybe we will get some CP also?

Great stuff!! Finally a Dolph movie comes out in the UK and not four years after the US release. Curious change of title, wonder if they did that because more people would be likely to buy a movie called The Killing Machine with Dolph as opposed to Icarus. Either way I hope Anchor Bay do a good job, I'll probably get this edition. :D

Awesome! Love the new title haha. It also appears to be coming out in a triple pack the same day: Men Of War / Last Patrol / Killing Machine DVD.

As I said I think THE KILLING MACHINE was the first title of the script (it had been mentioned as an A.K.A. on a site of a company that had pre-bought it) and then dropped. So yeah Anchor Bay must have thought it would sound and sell better as a Dolph title (I defnitely prefer ICARUS as of 2010, TKM would have been good in 1988 or 89).
