I've been absent for quite a long time (long, long and fairly depressing story), but here's a bit of news to keep myself a useful member. Direct Contact has been rated 18 by the BBFC, and WILL still be released by Lionsgate, despite reports it was just a rumour. This means a release date should be set for the next couple of months.

This isnt too bad of a movie. Its heart is in the right place. Its executed in a rather muddlesome way. I like the story, the setting. The action is a little exaggerated, but other than a few scenes, its a good little movie.
DTV Grade: 4.5/10
(10/10 on DTV movie grade would be about 5/10 on a normal movie grading system)
