Just wrapped the Bangkok part of the principal photography on SKIN TRADE, an action thriller co-starring Tony Jaa, Ron Perlman, Michael Jai White, Celina Jade and the fantastic Peter Weller.
The film looks great and we're off to Vancouver next week to finish the shoot. You'll be hearing more about this picture and the upcoming kick-ass EXPENDABLES 3. Should be an exciting year!!'

Dolph Lundgren has been spending the past 4 months in Thailand to prepare and shoot his long awaited SKIN TRADE, a gritty and sophisticated action drama that he first wrote 7 years ago. Dolph is producing as well starring, surrounded by a unique cast: Tony Jaa, Ron Perlman, Michael Jai White, Celina Jade and Peter Weller. Production is expected to wrap at the end of March in Vancouver after a 50+ days schedule.

This very personal project has been in development for years, but Dolph waited for all the stars to align for the film to rise above a run-of-the-mil action films. As a writer/producer, Lundgren decided to give the director's chair to talented Thai director Ekachai Uegkrongtham, acclaimed for his live stage shows and provokative films with an emotional core (“Beautiful Boxer”).

The international crew of SKIN TRADE is also top notch, with cinematographer Ben Nott (“Daybreakers”, “Tomorrow When the War Began”) behind the camera, editor Victor DuBois (“The Last Samurai”, “Braveheart”), production designer Ek Lemchuen (“Tears of the Black Tiger”), not to mention stunt coordinator Diyan Hristov (“Expendables 2”, “300”).

SKIN TRADE is produced by Craig Baumgarten, Dolph Lundgren and Mike Selby. Expect a release in 2015.

Teaser is up. It's only short thankfully so doesn't spoil too much (more than we already know), but at the footage looks really good. It looks like a theatrical picture, that's for sure.
