The red poster kicks so much ass, it SHOULD be going theatrical! It looks like a proper sequel to Red Scorpion or Peacekeeper.

With the first pair, I definitely say that red poster--it looks like a full-on Dolph action movie cranked to all hell breaking loose.

As for the second set, I don't quite agree with them much, but the 2nd one is definitely the better of the two. The first looks too much like a cheap DTV poster.

i think they're all good. the 2nd of the 4 is my favorite, but i think the first one in red is best b/c u can see the girl, Dolph is looking up and it conveys energy and liveliness. The second one is sexy Dolph, but Dolph's energy looks a little sapped and i know that's one thing Dolph is not lacking - energy :) .

wow, i just visited the "Command Performance" website - it is so intimidating, the energy -wow. Dolph is so much fun to watch. if i had a backstage pass, i would just sit and enjoy all the people interactions, but i wouldn't dare try to jump into all the action, my shyness would get chewed up and spit out, it's just fun to watch.

I would prefer like a mixup between them.
I like the concept of number 1 (The design and placing of the crowd, Dolph + girl and the text) but I don´t like the photo or the fonts that much.

I kinda like the font used in no 4. Maybe use that title card (without the bend to it) on poster no 1. Maybe some details on the text. Like bullet holes or dust and cracks or something.
Also replace the main photo in no 1 for the big one of Dolph from no 4 (or one like it) and place him center.
Then other pictures can be put in the background like in no 3 and 4.

I totally agree with you Jox about the colours. Not just one tone of red. It makes it look kinda flat.

For me it seems important to see Dolphs face in the poster. And the emotion he conveys in that picture is important as hell. I like the "troubled but tough" look on no 4.

On this subject I could go on and on (and on...) so I´l just stop now.

Cool!

I got so pumped on this I decided to make my own version of a CP Poster.

Image

The main image is not the best. The original image is really small and of low quality which makes it hard to tweek the colours.

Still not sure about the inclusion of Hristo Shopov on the right.

All in all it´s work in progress.
Feedback? Ideas?

Much, much better than the others, Preacher! And I agree with all your own critique of it. And Shopov needs to face the other way (and preferably use better pic of him). Maybe exchanging one of the girl images (what's her name?) for a shot of the terrorists would help set up the premise better.

Very good!

I hate to say it but, I was highly anticipating these posters and considering the FANTASTIC publicity/promo shots there should have been something awesome. But these are terrible. There is a lack of contrast between the red and the black and blue and I hate the colours. Ironically Preacher's poster is 100 times better and more attractive. The provisional posters look so damn cheap and the colours are all wrong. Bright bright MTV style posters should have been the aim, which it looks like it was, but not just with one or two colours.
The 4th one is the best for me with the red because it looks like the most professional. But some damned colour in it and it would be pretty damn good. But these are a real disappointment.

Hence this survey / fans consultation.

Yeah I understand that Jox, just didn't want to hold back on saying what I thought because I want to see the best for CP.

Please don't in this case, the whole point was to know what people REALLY think.
