There you go:
Hi, this is Dolph Lundgren. Welcome to our new FB site. I just wrapped principal photography on the action-thriller SKIN TRADE, after shooting for 10 weeks in Bangkok and Vancouver, B.C.

This picture is about human trafficking and is very special to me. I started working on the script 7 years ago, after reading a news story about a van full of girls that were to be smuggled from Mexico to the United States. The van was left by the traffickers along the border and all the thirty girls inside died from heat stroke and suffocation.

I have two young daughters myself and I felt that this is a story that has to be told. I used that incident as inspiration for a scene in SKIN TRADE, a film produced by Mike Selby, Craig Baumgarten and myself.

Strange that there was no any set picture for the Canadian shoot. I got used to be getting set pics from this movie. And they shot 12 days in Vancouver. Didn't even know about it.

Nice :)

Funny enough, I'm right reading the book "Bangkok Haunts" by John Burdett (the Bangkok trilogy, consisting of Bangkok 8, Bangkok Tattoo and bangkok Haunts, plus The godfather ofkatmandu), which is the story of an untouchable / incorruptible cop who's in love with a thaï prostitute, and has to deal with an american fbi agent someties. The plot is not the same, and i'm sure the story will differ a lot, but it would be interesting to knwo if one of the screenwrtiers has read these books (they're really interesting because they emphasize on the cultural differences between farang and thaï).

Damn Damn Damn!
Saw the Quest -piece (nice going getting on a serious show like that) and during the interview your get to see two clips from the movie. Short ones but it looks GREAT.
The scope, lighting, photo and the snippets of acting from Dolph and Perlman.
A last a first glance like this it looks theatrical!

Definitely getting a good vibe on this... and you can tell Dolph is beaming just getting a chance to promote/talk about this film. I'm crossing my fingers that this is a homerun for him!

Composers were being considered, I don't know if they booked one yet.

Dolph Lundgren

'SKIN TRADE' FAN QUESTION #1 (from Amanda Jackson Britt):
• "Are any of the movie's proceeds going to benefit victims?"

• Yes, we're in the process of evaluating the best way of doing this. I'm going to Cambodia in May to visit some of the areas most affected by human trafficking.
