The fact that this is being filmed back-to-back with BLOOD OF REDEMPTION with much of the same cast, sets, locations, etc. does not make me very excited... More worried than anything else. Gives off the vibe of a rushed production without much time for coherence in the story, etc.

Plus, the few productions that have been filmed back-to-back with other films are not the best indicators... Paul Morrissey's Dracula / Frankenstein combo from 1973 are extremely laughable. The notorious Uwe Boll has also done the same with many of his films of late as well (of course, he's a whole other story himself  ).

It might be something that happens more and more now perhaps. And again it's about convenience and probably saving a few quid.

Well, the director and his producer/actor Gianni Capaldi quite an Italian posse, probably gathered some money and thought it'd be fun to do with Dolph and Jones (who is a nobody to me btw: football player? actor? never heard of him except on these B movie forums)...

As I said before though, what could be interesting here is how they seem to propose two different stories with the same actors but from opposite point of views: cops and gangsters... Sure it won't be A BETTER TOMORROW but we'll see how that goes.

P.S.: They had the luxury of a second unit on both films according to IMDB.

Jones is quite a great actor when under a good director. He can get some strong characters, like in the japanese weird movie "Survive Style 5+" (I really advise this one). He's really good in Snatch, Midnight Meat Train (depsite being a lazy movie), he did get good treatment in The Condemned (lazy movie too). Not a bad carreer until this past few years (where his choices or agent's choices have been ... arguable ;) )

Yup, I thought he was pretty good in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Love the whole movie btw. - highly recommendable. Although hard to understand for a non-native speaker. ;)

Great news! Only 14 more title changes to go before the release date. To be honest, it doesn't make one ounce of difference what the title is. The Tomb was recently changed to Escape Plan, this has had three titles already. Will it make any difference with regards to sales? I doubt it.

OMG yeeesss soooo OOOOLLLLLDDDDD!

NO, he just looks more candid, he's not shaved, probably doesn't have tons of makeup, his hair seem more natural and the light is very bad so , as he would in that situation. I don't know what old is for you but he's about 55 not 25 anymore, but he's doesn't look 60, 70 or 80.

He's certainly aged more from 2009-10 - 2013 but who can blame him with the almost constant film roles and the divorce. That said, he looks great for his age and you'd be forgiven for thinking he was 45, not nearing 60!
