Love this typical "cluelessness" form of amateurism on the ad
"Dolph will star with Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, FOREST WHITAKER, SCOTT ADKINS and SANDRA BULLOCK"
None of the last three will appear in the picture, Bullock has even revealed she's never been offered a part!

(Not even mentioning UNISOL has been long gone to post, not pre-production)

Did I ever show you these mock-ups I made 6 months ago?

I've learned to kinda just let that dvd cover go. What Sony does, Sony will do. They've put out shit covers, not cared, and I've learned it's time to just accept they won't give two damns about the DTV community and their demands because they certainly aren't going to get Peter Travers to review CP, that's for sure. I'll just buy the dvd unless reviewers on this site say otherwise.

What Sony does, Sony will do.

It's not Sony releasing the movie anymore, it's First Look Studios (company now owned by Nu Image) and their covers are way worse, Sony would probably have made a way better cover than this. But yeah time to let go and still push the movie! (I just hope other territories will be smarter)

Oop, my mistake. I guess as long as FL keeps making that money off the new Val Kilmer/whoever movie, they won't care about dvd covers because they probably think it looks okay anyway. Makes zero sense, but oh well. Roll with those uncomfortable punches.

I see the folks over at dvdactive.com ain't too impressed with the cover either, might be worth sending those comments to First Look Jox? I know you are saying it's hopeless but I honestly just can't believe the shitty cover and the terrible press release for this movie, it is such a terrible terrible mistake.

I have not said it was hopeless but it certainly be more effective if they suddenly got lots of complaints by email rather than just me as spokesman which could also alter my relationship with them. So please be my guest. (problem in those cases is they would often dismiss these comments by saying it's just a few people complaining, not gonna make them lift a finger)

Guys, I have had some problems recently, but I'd be willing to construct an e-mail to them if some others would do the same? I can get another few guys, maybe from the Van Damme forum too, we need to change this cover, it's so damned awful...

I'm willing to sign a petition or sending an e-mail just give me the address to send, dvd cover sucks.
And about the bad press, alot of people did not like MM also, i actually think it was an awesome movie, maybe slow in the begining of the movie, but it was very well done with some looking realistic bikers and good actors, people will alaways complain about something no matter how good the movie turns out to be, so my hopes for CP are still very much high.
