I love how Tony Jaa appears to be defying gravity, can one look that calm whilst apparently flying through the air with a shotgun? I quite like the poster but it's really odd how they have incorporated Jaa - certainly turns the head though which I suppose is what its meant to do and at least they didn't go for the usual close-up of both of them holding a gun which you have to be thankful for. He's not even at an explicable angle though haha...he's just kinda there...

Personally, I'm a fan of the original poster more. The original gave the impression that yes, it was an action film, but one with a serious message. The young woman standing in the middle really sells the whole human trafficking plot and makes the film seem like it's more than "just another Dolph Lundgren action film." In my opinion, the new poster gives the vibe that the film is generic. As of now, the poorly photoshopped images of Dolph and Tony Jaa resemble something out of a Rob Liefeld comic book from the '90's...

Guess in the end though, this is what sells...

I too much prefer the more atmospheric and melancholic advance poster, yet with Tony Jaa's presence and all, I'm no longer surprised it might be marketed the easy cheesy way... And they're certainly afraid that selling it as a serious drama/thriller would kill its commercial chances even more. But let's wait for the final poster.

Yahoo released a new trailer, but my advice is DO NOT WATCH before Jox says we "can" (or should ). My opinion is it spoils the movie big time* (and the sound seems poorly edited).
But the action is still great, the acting seems rock solid also.

*or it's just the article with that is either spoilish or misinformed.

I disagree. I don't think it gives away any more spoilers than the previous trailer. This one is certainly a little more polished, but it essentially has the same scenes as the last one. Sure, it does seem to give away many of the story beats, but not any more than the last.

That looks pretty badass. I get a good vibe from this. A good old school action film. I think it will stand up with Dolph's earlier films like Dark Angel, Showdown, Joshua etc. It'll obviously have a bit more drama in it too, but it certainly looks like they've set out to make a proper, fun action movie at the same time. It looks like it belongs on the big screen too.

This actually looks pretty fucking awesome. It's almost looking like what the Taken sequels should have been. Definitely Dolph's most polished looking movie in ages and the cinematography/grading is actually more impressive than The Expendables 3.

It looks like a real movie, one with legitimate production values. Something that many of Dolph's films of the past five years (especially the Serafini trio) have been lacking.

I don't know, I don't have a good/neutral pespective though...

I'm more bothered by the wrong aspect ratio... but it looks okay on the Tony Jaa / ST FB pages.

My bad then
The movie will obviously be great.

My concern was about the fate of Dolph's daughters, but I might have been misunderstanding some stuff, my bad again.

No, no you got it right, but I it seems there's been some changes about that and how it comes into play in the film... which is a shame not only because it ruins the open outcome of the story, and now it plays like a TAKEN rip-off (and TAKEN wasn't even made when SKIN TRADE first originated)
