BAD POINTS

- Some of the scenes with the girls as Tom says are pretty bad.

- Chemistry is lacking in a few places.

7.5/10

Good review Tom, i read ur entire review. do you have the movie? i thought it will be released Nov. 3. Anyway good review. Anyway, it's okay that Chemistry is lacking in a few places. Dolph is a married man with a family. Although as his fan i enjoy watching him strike Chemistry with girls, just to watch him b/c he's so cute, i would be upset if at this day and age he completely ignored his eternal partners in life (his wife and kids) and went on to make out with girls who truly have no meaning in his life except for making the movie. it was a different story when Dolph was single, but now he is married. There are other ways Dolph can strike Chemistry. i think (unlike other actors) Dolph is smart to respect that part of his life - his marriage- and not ignore it just to get "woohoo"ed by his fans (at the expense of his true happiness - his wife and kids) :) . Don't do it Dolph, good going :D .

Having a physical relationship with a woman, in a movie, is terrible, but, brutally, slaughtering tons of people, while cracking jokes is fine?

I hate to be the one to break this to you, evegotbet, but it's ALL make believe. None of it is real. I'm serious, they're just pretending. They call it "acting".

Personally, I think there's way to little sex in DL's movies. The leading lady, at very least, getting her funbags out should be mandatory.

I like funbags. And I like action.

i don't know, i disagree Dolphage. i don't mind it at all that Dolph is being reserved, it kind of makes him sexier also b/c he doesn't come across as a womanizer. that shows that he respects women as females and not necessarily as sex objects only. that's very much needed. too many guys are just predatory towards women.( hehehehe  if i can't have him no one can!) :D .

evegotbet I know you mean well  , but I think you jump totally off topic here and inappropriately because it has nothing to do with the movie and is only a projections of your own beliefs, please try not to mix up everything. To close topic I don't think the lack of sex in his movies has anything to do with Dolph making restrictions so don't be naive. He shot one in DC last year, did the torrid music video two years ago etc He's not stuck up. And his marriage is his private affair and none of our business.

In any case, miss the days of COVER-UP and JOSHUA TREE!

IT will be released in the US November 3rd 8) but has become available in Thailand and a couple sites.

I hear PR for COMMAND PERFORMANCE has already started slowly last week. Dolph visited army camp Fort Hood in Texas, met with soldiers and signed autographs, attended change of command ceremony, did a couple of interviews and met with Blockbuster executives... Today he'll be at the Fantastic Fest in Austin where he'll do a Q&A about UNIVERSAL SOLDIER but also promote CP I think (should get more news later).

Great news!! I love when he starts promoting his movies before they come out because we get tonnes of new interviews and shit. Fantastic Fest, that's where he promoted Missionary Man along with the bad guy from MM, right? And got an interview with a woman while they all sat on a sofa? It'll be interesting to hear what he has to say about Universal Soldier, I know he loves talking about Command Performance though, from the earlier interviews you could tell he had a blast filming it.

Sorry, I know this is sliding towards off-topic but Dolphage, the comment about funbags had me rolling around. I think that in Command Performance it was good to keep it to a minimum, nothing really went on, it was just a case of Dolph and the girl going to meet up and party, I'm glad he didn't have sex with her because that woulda been really cheesy and bad, the Direct Contact sex scene just felt totally unceccessary and predictable. Obviously considering the President's daughters were at the concert, no one could have gotten their "funbags" out on stage so to speak. I think a sex scene, a romantic one would go down well in a movie like Icarus, but in movies like Command Performance, it would seem uneccessary, out of place and totally forced like it was "obligatory" for an action movie to have one.

It's a different one and I don't think D ever went to that one before.

"Uneccessary, out of place and totally forced" is how I like it. That's just how I roll.

Some new interviews would be awesome. Maybe he could get on some bigger shows this time around since he's, also, got The Expendables coming up (and UniSol 3).

oh well Jox, too bad, so sad. it's time to let go of some of the secularity you're holding on to and head to the Catholic Church to do some repenting. this whole gig looks like is getting to you too much :D .

evegotbet, I am sincerely and in all friendship asking you to separate and leave religion out of this board's discussions, nothing against you, just the way it has to be in all fairness to respect everybody. That's the last time I warn you. So you welcomed to be here and participate as long as you leave religion and preaching out of it.
