Hm..... very cliché looking characters... but that's the nature of DTV movies I guess.

I don't think it's specific to DTV movies at all. That's why I hate when people dismiss DTV for stuff they don't acknowledge being in the theatrical non-sense they call films and think are masterpieces. Movies have relied on clichés since it's early days and CP of course is doing nothing than playing with clichés but isn't it the whole point?!

Hm, ok, maybe it's the fact that the cliché characters depicted here look like cheap, under-educated people to me. Sorry for being so snobbish btw. ;)

A Britney brat singer, a biker/rocker

Being snobbish is good sometimes and I kinda do see your point though, maybe we'll talk more in details once the movie's out...

I'm glad SOMEONE knows what Mosquito is talking about. "Under-educated"? What the fckballs does that mean?! Should Joe the Drummer be wearing glasses? Carrying books? Should the broad (whatever her name is) be sporting a suit and a monocle? "Under-educated"? I don't know what that means. They look good to me. If anything it's a lot nicer that your average DTV.

Well, you can be a musician or a fan without looking like Britney "White Trash" Spears.

Is your problem that the girls dress like Britney Spears? It's a concert, there not going to be wearing overalls. They're gonna dress like their idol.

Dolph ("their idol") dresses differently and yes, I have a problem with girls looking like the typical "Hey, my school grades suck but I have perfect fingernail extensions and blond highlights in my teased hairdo and I want to be a hairdresser" girls.

Dolph is not the "idol", he's the drummer for the opening act. The chick is the "idol", she's the reason the girls are there.

Also, I KNEW it! I just wanted you to be honest about your sweeping comment about everyone looking cliche, and reveal what you really meant. I was right, there was evil feminism behind it.

Evil.

I can see your point Mosquito, thing is, what else could you have? The girl is very attractive and yes she isn't really wearing much, but it's a rock concert, it's a bit of fun, I don't think anything in this movie is meant to be taken seriously in any way, least of all the characters probably, haha.

But isn't that what we see today, many singers like the pussy cat dolls and britney spears and many more looking beautiful and barelly wearing anything, and what the hell is cliche??? what does cliche mean??

He might not admit it but Dolph is mocking the whole thing with a sense of irony between these two generations and mentalities, the old school badass rock band, and the overly sexy lip-sinc-ing "American Idol"; and there's irony too if the terrorists crash the concert when they do.

Britney is one of the most recognizable pop icons in modern music. It makes sense to style Venus on her. It is cliched, but as Jox said, DTV flicks aren't alone in being guilty of that.

So it's an actual Pakistan DVD release and not the region 1 US release?
