Typical. To be honest, I can only see JCVD become more apathetic toward his 'bread and butter' work now that he's had an arthouse 'hit'. He does seem to be getting a little pretentious all of a sudden, just because he's bared his soul in film and gotten respect for it, he feels he needs to play the misunderstood artist. The Stallone quote was a bit of a slap in the face from him to be honest, like Expendables is not 'worthy' enough for him any more. One can only imagine how much efffort JC will put into Unisol 3, I predict he will be phoning his performance in from another continent. Whereas Dolph treats projects hands on, even if he's not at the helm. He's shown good grace to turn up a week early for a role most people would turn up an hour early for. That's giving the Hyams duo great respect, and Dolph doesn't even have the working relationship and friendship JC has with Peter Hyams. Already I can figure out who the real star of the show will be on release. 8)

Brilliant post Leigh! Spot on!

This movie is in dire trouble in general. So many things about it tell me that it´s going to be a disapointment. I hope I´m wrong.
Spring, era jävlar!

I hear Dolph is wrapped (but principal photography will continue until April 28th).

BTW as we could imagine the second movie is ignored so this will be like a direct sequel to the first movie.

I'm glad they ignored the second movie, very glad. Now the 2nd movie could come after the 3rd in the timeline.

So if Dolph is wrapped in a week and JC hasn't even arrived yet, will they even share screen time?

BTW, is there any on set photos yet?

Apparently they fight in the movie, so I'm hoping that JC and Dolph were on set during the same days. Hopefully some on-set pics will surface soon...I guess Dolph can concentrate on prepping Icarus..FINALLY!!! Can't wait for that one... :D

Of course, I mean come on I know we're all worried and suspicious about this project but this was the whole point having Dolph back and even cheap gritty producers get that.

Yeah I guess so. Even if Dolph just shows up and fights JC I'd be pleased with that. Seeing two action legends on screen is always a rare event. I think I'm probably going to pass out when I see The Expendables...

From what i heard, JC is in Bulgaria, i don't think he wants anyone to know he is there everything is hush hush, now if US2 as nothing to do with US1, does US3 took place before or after US2.

Well was Dolph in Bulgaria just for a fight scene or was he there shooting different scenes??

I think probably they are just ignoring US-2 and making US-3 a direct sequel to US-1. However we won't know until the movie comes out, where they are starting off from and if they are going to scrub round US-2 COMPLETELY because US-2 actually had little regard for US-1 anyway.

Well on the Van Damme Forum they say that Luc was just having a dream on deep storage of his future if he was human.
