I was wondering whose paycheck was bigger Jean Claude's or Dolph's considering they played the lead roles !!! I understand that Van Damme was a good guy and credited first and villain's usually get credited second (Dolph) but movie is constructed in this way that we see a parallel development of both characters during the movie - everyone with his own adventures during the road trip ... ! They could place Dolph's name first at the end credits title to show the viewers that there is no difference between their name ego and leadership, like Jackie and Chris Tucker were credited in last Rush Hour movie, or Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze in Point Break in 1991.Let the audience to decide who was the ''Man'' in this movie ...

During the long period of development, rewrites and pre-production, there were discussions about who's name would be first etc. From what I had read, Van Damme was paid $1 million more than Dolph (reportedly paid $2 or 3 million I can't remember and don't know if this accurate).

i don't know but on one website is indicated that Van Damme got paid 1,500000 $ for his role, so if Dolph was paid one million less - it is just 500000 $ ! No i guess is just a rumor.... ! I heard Van Damme in one of his interview, back in time, when he mentioned the his first flat/net million was made on Universal Soldier !!! Movies he made for Cannon were cheap 1-3 $ and his payment was around 60000-75.000$ per movie !!! Only Double Impact had a bigger budget 15-18 million $, but made by Michael Douglas Company- Stone Group, his paycheck was 650000 $ !!!

I thought JCVD got paid $600,000 for Double Impact and Universal Soldier was his first $1 million paycheck. But Carolco was notorious for over paying for talent so I wonder...

Viendammage it could be 600000 $ for Double Impact !!! It depends from site to site, different numbers !!!! but i think it is close to it (600000$) ! After i watch recent interview with him on 1 March 2019 where he answered many questions about his career (ex. his Predator exit), JCVD mentioned that producers wanted to cut the budget of Double Impact during it's shooting, when Stone Group got into trouble with Brian'S Bosworth debut movie Stone Cold (1991) - when original director Bruce Malmuth( who directed Dolph' s movie Pentathlon (1994)) got fired, production went over the budget, footage shot by MALMUTH(basically Bosworth backstory where he originally have a sister and kids) went into trash and never used , script re-write etc ! producers came to JCVD said described the situation and Van Damme got mad almost knocked the guy with a water melon or some different fruit and got lucky that he didn't hit his target(producer).
And considering how economy works in the US !!! Employers always hide the income, declare just some amount for Taxes and another part (usually cash) no one never know the real amount! It is illegal but everyone is doing like that - Jew country !
Even JCVD said when he worked for Cannon Menahem Golan kind of push him to tell everyone that budget of his movies where 10-15 millions per movie, when the real budget was 1-2 millions ! Everyone need to know that the US is a dream country, first power in the world !!! When the truth actually is not like that, especially nowadays when stars from "90 are starring now in movies with 150000 $ budget ! that's why we don't have quality movies like back in late"80-early"90s! Everyone is missing that era

So, it's not the most obvious thing ever, but hey : on their new tour, on the Puppe song, TIll from Rammstein looks like a UniSol, with its sandy costume and the camera on his left eye.

That would be awesome. Dolph nd JCVD are long overdue on the format.

It would be good since the Blu-ray had excessive DNR and I'm sure a proper 4K remaster would also bring back its original "theatrical" colors.
