RED SCORPION (Joseph Zito, 1988)

I was just watching it the other night, and unlike the theater release, the US disc is missing a scene where the soviets are in white anti-radiation suits and spraying the village with chemicals.............it should have been left it, because it makes no sense that the villagers say "it is raining on us" after the Russian war chopper flies over them, and nothing further is explained.

New Red Scorpion DVD?

Postby Mosquito on 29 Jun 2004, 21:28

Does anybody know if this is a new version or just a new release of the old UK DVD?

it's a new release of the old one by another distributor, I asked them about special features and there's nothing not even widescreen or Dolby 5.1 mix

Yes, recently I've won it via eBay (FSK 18) and it looks exactly like the cover on amazon... I think there's nothing really new.
In hope for someone who could replace the real Dolph one day if he's (hopefully not as soon) out of business...

Red Scorpion- Rock/Blues Interpret wanted!

Postby Terminator on 23 Aug 2004, 14:27

I'd really like to know who's the Interpret of that Rock 'n Roll Blues you can even hear on main menu in the DVD! :)
Do you know anything? Maybe it's "Jay Chattaway", but he worked with an Orchestre and not with this Blues.

I am currently not really in the media...
Does this version support a modified screen solution within PSP, concerning high detailed image views?

I agree with you Mosquito, it's very stupid to release movies on this medium.

Yeah, you are right... this "PSP" looks a lot like a PSX game.. ^^
But it would be boring seeing Dolph as a polygon, won't it??? I prefer the real one.

Terminator, PSP is the new Playstation Portable. My geek bf had to buy one of course. ;) The display is awesome and the games look *very* realistic. Even movies look good but the display is far too small of course. One must be very bored and have far too much money in order to buy movies for that thingie.
